Great customer service. They ordered the parts needed to fix the struts on my Toyota Highlander, kept me informed of when the parts came in and repaired my car immediately when the parts arrived. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend this shop to anyone. They are knowledgeable, honest, efficient, and kind. I'm a single mother with a child that has a lot of needs, on the verge of an internal breakdown this morning with fifty dollars in my wallet. I pulled up to their shop this morning after dropping my child off at school, got an appointment. I sat in my car outside their shop, probably only two minutes, not knowing what to do. My car was pouring oil, knowing I can't be without a vehicle. Promptly the mechanic came out to me sitting in my car and asked how he could help. My car is broken and pouring oil. Within less than five miles all the oil sprayed out of my car. They pulled it right into the shop and put it on a lift. Told me what was broken and asked if I wanted them to. Fix it . Then they did under 30 minutes. I just want yo say thank you. They didn't know my sob story, they didn't try to take advantage, and gave me some future advice without making me feel dumb. So I recommend if you need your car fixed. Have a question go here. Honest and efficient and I will say again kind people. 🚗

Fantastic experience with Danny at Gil's in Amherst. My son said the brakes had gone in his truck. I found Gil's in Amherst and called and Danny said to bring it in and he would look it over. Brakes are fixed and at price was very fair.

My kid had their car break down right in from of Gil's shop. Without them even asking the guys at the shop jumped into action and helped them. Everything was taken care of and we are so thankful. They are good at auto repair, but so are a lot of people. What I want to praise is that they are good people too.

Best repair shop experience. Went to Gils Auto Repair & Performance Inc. for a clunking noise from the front left side, it was not the usual suspect but they were determined and able to find and fix the issue at a very reasonable price; they where super nice, explained everything, great overall experience. I won’t go anywhere where else.

Amazing Auto Shop all around:
A day before Christmas break, before I had to go home to PA, my alternator breaks. I went to autozone, bought the part for $290, and then proceeded to go to TEN places to see if they could simply replace my old one with the new one - it’s basically removing the belt, taking out a few lugs and some electrical wires and putting in the new one. All TEN of these places said they only work on their own parts, it’ll take an hour or two of time and it’ll run me $600-$800… I go to Gils and ask if they can do it, they don’t even hesitate, they had me bring it in, installed my own alternator and did it in 15 minutes for a fraction of a fraction of what other auto shops were asking me. The staff were amazing too. If your car gets messed up, don’t bother with anyone else, just go straight to these guys.
