“My partner and I had a last minute trip to the Metro West area, so on the way back I searched for a gem and mineral/metaphysical shop and this place came up. It's been awhile since I've been to a new Magickal shop, so decided to treat myself to a few new friends. I got myself...- 2x Chrysoprase tumbled stones.- Natural Citrine Point.- Amethyst point with Phantoms. - A funky Blue Kyanite blade.- Black Obsidian Leaf Pentacle altar stone. We are rarely around the area, but I highly recommend and would stop by again when I get the chance. I'll make jewelry out with some of these pieces and I hope to show the lovely lady behind the counter”
“This is an awsome store!. Owners are very kind and amazing. The store is mostly toys, gifts and puzzles with huge selection of pokemon cards. On sundays they do run pokemon trading for smaller kids and they make it fun for everyone. Prices are very reasonable throughout the store. I would give this one 6 Stars if i could.”
“This is more than a yarn store, even though that's why I was there. They have an excellent collection of yarns to choose from, well organized by weight and color, though it can be a little frustrating if you're trying to locate multiple colors of the same yarn. However the staff makes up for this with how friendly and helpful they are. They have good recommendations as well.In addition to yarns, they have a collection of locally made goods. They have some home sewn items as well as local jellies, jams, and preserves. There are always a selection of baking mixes as well. There is a lot to choose from, giving the whole place a country craft vibe.There are classes, workshops, and knit-alongs offered, as well as a program that offers badges for skill completion, which is a fun tie back to scouting days. The whole vibe is welcoming and enjoyable.This also may not matter to some, but I've had some challenges being of a more alternative appearance in shops in the past because of my piercings, tattoos, and less conventional fashion. Perhaps it's the lack of constantlu wearing knit goods... Mostly this comes in the form of people expecting I know nothing about crafting, but it gets under my skin because I've been knitting for over 15 years, though I don't keep much of what I make or only use it with historic dress. However, here I've been given a good reception, and while there have been questions about my experience, it's never an assumption, and generally it's with the express purpose of guiding me towards selections that would meet my needs, or to suggest ideas for new techniques or tools that would appeal to my skill level. It's a refreshing change.”
“What a wonderful Gift Shop! Beautiful, one-of-a-kind handpicked items are perfect for this holiday season gifts! My daughter and I also took couple of classes there and we both loved it. I took a glass beads making class (flame-working) and made few beautiful looking glass beads. Holly was so wonderful and showed me various techniques and provided me with valuable information that I can use in my new flame-working hobby. I had lots of fun working with glass and will definitely be back for more classes and gifts.”

“Hello to all at the Paper Store, I have been shopping for decades at the Paper Store but more so the past ten years on and off; I always try to obtain their charitable ornament for giving to charity with this purchase; this year I missed it because we did not receive the newspaper delivery until after the fact; but once I got the flier, (late) we made our way there to purchase that gingerbread ornament but it ran out/sold out before the event began even. I ended up purchasing a lovely musical gingerbread house and it is on our table as a centerpiece to be enjoyed.Our car broke down end of last month and we had to use my husband's work vehicle to do our chores this weekend, and the Paper Store was one of the stops.Be nice to all because you never know what one customer is going through as they're shopping in your shop. We were waited on by Register 4 and I tend to think something is known as you're placed with an associate; this happens lots and lots with all dealings and it is annoying for me alone since the associate does not know you, nor you of them. I tend to think otherwise.Have a good sale this season and remember kindness is best when dealing with customers. Don't fake it either.these are last year's image the ornament that I purchased last year, and this gingerbread house this year. Thank you!”
