Assabet River Bicycles is a friendly and competent bike shop. The staff is very knowledgeable and super friendly, taking time to help customers find the right bike for their price range and offering help even after a purchase. The mechanics are skilled, fixing issues like a stuck cassette or a problematic derailleur, sometimes very quickly and even for free. They are reasonably priced and reasonably quick with their service. The shop uses teenagers working after school, and everybody there seems pretty happy. Customers have had an excellent experience and highly recommend the shop for any bike needs, maintenance, tune-ups, or accessories.
