I get my mowers and snow blower serviced at Robinson's in Framingham. They've always done great work and return the equipment quickly. They also clean it! I have them pick-up and drop-off which is huge since I don't have a truck. It costs a little extra but is worth it.They even once picked up my girlfriend's grandparent's snow blower even though they are technically out of range. Now that's wanting to help!The service department is knowledgeable and friendly. I bought my Honda mower here, and will continue to support them any way I can.I have also rented a portable generator from the Hudson store when they didn't have it at Framingham, and they are just as awesome there!I love supporting this small business because they are so focused on helping me. That's hard to find at big box stores.

Their work is great....I've been dealing with them for years now, I bought my snow blower from them and other random stuff. I'd give them 4 stars except my riding mower, a Poulon which granted I bought elsewhere, took 6 weeks to get a replacement carburetor, a battery and a tune up. It was frustrating, but their staff were always pleasant and the mower runs great, it was just a very long process

Not the friendliest bunch of employees, owner included. Not well stocked in certain depts. False advertising about filling up propane tanks.

Robinsons came to pick up my snow blower for a tune up and the driver did a great job. They will return it after tune up. When I need other products to purchase, their people are always very knowledgeable and helpful to get what I need.

We went to Robinson HW this morning to drop off our broken lawnmower for repair. Two employees took it upon themselves to remove our lawnmower from the back of my Lexus without our verbal consent. The manager of the repair department was present for the initial removal. He then went inside.When the employees placed the lawnmower on the ground, it was apparent that one of the employees had misjudged the distance from the car. My rear bumper received a huge gash, as a result of his negligence. One of the two employees was extremely contrite. The other was silent. The contrite employee went to get the manager.When the manager came back to us, he immediately stated “ We are not responsible for loading or unloading any vehicles,” although he said NOTHING when his employees were UNLOADING the lawnmower from my vehicle.When my wife went inside to deal with the paperwork for the lawnmower, the manager reiterated several times that the damage to my car was not Robinson Hardware’s responsibility and refused to apologize. When my wife pressed him on his position he threatened to refuse service because she was giving him a “hard time.”Now I have a $1,000 repair that’s my responsibility.

Good local shop. Helpful, knowledge staff. Just wish I was told about their "rewards card" before spending 3k at the store (snowblower/lawn equip). Realized they had one during a later purchase, girl at the register asked: do you have a reward card? I said no, and she just proceeded to give me the total, instead of asking if I wanted a card? Strange. So I just paid, and left the store. Also brought a mower blade for sharpening. Friendly interaction but it took them a week to tell me it couldn't be sharpened and needed to order a new one and took about 2 wks to arrive. All in all I like the shop and recommend trying them if you're in the area...

On May 8, 2023 I took my Honda mower to Robinson's because the blades weren't working/cutting. The charge for service is $80.00. Received a call mower was ready to be pickup. At service counter I was charged another $10 and on receipt it read: "Removed large amount of old grass, leaves & debris from under and all around cables, levers, springs & belt. After clearing debris I found no issue with blades spinning. Tested several time during the work day with same results". In the backyard I had the staff start the mower, but I didn't check the blades (to see if they turn) and went home. A few days later I went to cut the grass and the blades didn't cut. Called Robinson's service dept and got the run-around from the desk clerk. All kinds of reasons, how the original service was written up. This is called "Rhetoric". All for $90 I got a cleanup job in two ways. I won't be going back to Robinson's Hardware.Carl HansenMarlboro

Terrible service in the tune-up of lawn mower. One year-old Honda mower brought in for service in beginning of February and it's May and still the mower is not ready! Have to hire a landscaping service to keep the grass trim. 5 phone calls in 5 weeks and the same answer, "It's in the queue. Come and get it if you don't like it."

Order #87191 tag 223503 I will NEVER, NEVER use Robinson's Service again. They told us they could tune-up our lawn tractor and get it back by early April, that was mid-March. Now we can't get it back serviced until June. The grass will be over our house! They changed us $75 to pick to up and deliver it. We told them to bring it back and skip the tune-up. After chasing them for a week they agreed to return it unserviced, but we had to pay the $75.Talk about bait and switch!Customer service does not exist!I am pissed the off!We got our mower back unservice but still got charged $75 pick up and delivery fee.

Raised in small-town Central Iowa, it’s refreshing to find this Chamber of Commerce worthy, walkable, convenient, and well-stocked family environment establishment. Rentals are a plus for not only homeowners, property managers, commercial businesses, and the independent landscapers. Why shop at the “Big Box Stores”? Support local businesses! It’s a win-win!
