Great Museum. Fantastic history to learn about. Museum is well presented. Very knowledge and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend checking out for all ages.

Not only a fabulous museum filled with the nautical history of the Cape, but museum also offers Rowing excursions on Lewis Bay. My friends and I had Jon as our coxswain, he and Bob were great. Highly recommend. Reasonably priced and fun!

Nestled at the head of beautiful Hyannis Harbor, the Cape Cod Maritime Museum holds a unique collection of artifacts, models, and fine art chronicling the nautical history of some of Cape Cod’s most important nautical events and people.
The museum’s Cook Boat Shop is a working wood boat shop where we help strengthen community through boat building — keeping alive the boat building culture, a tradition that’s been passed down through the generations.
Our Historic Boat Barn houses a complete collection of Cape Cod wood boats — many of them, such as our Spritsail Susie, over 100 years old.
