I had a scheduled service appointment for 8am Monday for an occasional rattling noise coming from my 2020 Chevy Trax (still under factory warranty). Originally, I was told I could leave the car, get a ride to work and get picked up at day's end. I show up for the scheduled appointment, spoke to a woman who proceeded to tell me that they may be able to look at it by Thursday or maybe sooner. So, I was to leave the car, have no transportation for 4 days and hopefully, they would be able to look at it. Really?

My new Chevy Express failed inspection at a local garage. They said it involved the port that the testers plug into to get readings from the onboard computer. Said its a job for a dealer. So I booked the appointment and left the van for the day. The woman who checked me in and kept in touch through the day was excellent. Level, calm, wanting to get to the bottom of the problem. The tech, on the other hand, wanted me to 'drive it for a while, make an appointment, then we can check it'. My answer:" That's exactly what I have done, the vehicle is in your possession, please fix it". Calm but firm. He did, it passed inspection, and my opinion of the dealership went way up. Just be calm but firm if you get a run-around

I have received pretty good Lube, Oil and Filter service from Copeland Chevrolet in the past. BUT, after performing a four wheel drive alignment on my Chevy Truck in October 2021, Copeland Chevrolet Service gave me a vehicle inspection report stating that my tires were at 7/32" tread depth range. Less than one month later, and only another 400 miles, all four of my tires were in the 3/32" tread depth range. All four tires had to be replaced (by another auto service provider) and I had to pay another alignment charge. Clearly, the Copeland Chevrolet service tech did NOT inspect my tires! Copeland should refund me the $119.95 they charged me for the alignment. Copeland Chevrolet also reported on the same vehicle inspection report that my 'front/rear brakes were in the "green" category. Exactly three months later (2,000 miles) I had major brake work ($800) including pads and rotors on all four tires. I actually went back to Copeland Chevrolet for an oil change last week but was NOT given a Vehicle Inspection Report ! Probably going to find new auto service provider!

They made the experience so easy. I had previously been dealing with another dealership who had been terrible so I decided to try this one. My salesperson George was so kind and patient. I never felt pressured or rushed or like they were trying to sell me anything I didn't want. All in all a great experience.
