Those COVID blocks should be gone for safety reasons alone … they only ever were a good thing for one side of Main St, and totally unfair to the other side to begin with, probably not one of the wisest decisions ever made by town management ?

It's time to remove those barriers. Those are saftey hazards for main st... How can police drive by main street with one lane only so bad for emergencys. The traffis is overwhelmingly stupid. 11pm people stand up on those barriers when cars are driving by. If someone will fall the town will be sued... How can u put tables and chairs to benefit one restaurant in one side and not the other side. Its discrimination. I hope the town manager gets sued.. Time for a new town manager.. Mark ells time for u to go... This town is in serious trouble..

The barriers are just part of the mess that has been made of Main Street. There is no continuity to the looks. It looks like a 3 ring circus. No theme to it It's time to get rid of the BID thing.

I love living here near Main Street everything is within walking distance and there are a lot of great stores. My favorite is army and navy and ace bradfords hardware. Just to name a few.

Absolutely love the positive changes they are making. Construction does not seem to be too intrusive. I absolutely was thrilled with the bead store. We then ended up at Mrs. Mitchell's. I bought some more sea glass and some starfish. When we got home I put our suitcases and "treasurers" on our bed. Within 20 minutes one of my dogs had either eaten or chewed on every starfish I had purchased! Ugh! I called Mrs. Mitchell's to share my disappointment in what happened. Within 5 minutes I was able place my order of my "lost" merchandise. The store and staff were completly understanding and accommodating. After giving my billing info over the phone, I had my new starfish within 3 days. Incredible customer service!! Thanks to all the employees who helped!

Run down and dumpy. There were more than a few unsavory characters walking around as well. Just never felt comfortable there and at times, unsafe. Shops were nothing great, the water wasn't near by, and many of the restaurants seemed divvy. My experience certainly didn't match the glowing, idealic description in the tourist pamphlet. Travelers beware.
