Great place for dinner! Only complaint is how loud it can be due to its size. But if that doesn’t bother you go for it!Dietary restrictions: They were able to accommodate my gluten allergy!

We have had many delicious sushi meals at Misaki in Hyannis. The owners, Karen and Sean are the most gracious and hard working couple. The food has always been extremely fresh, with great presentation, and excellent service. The ambiance is very unique with 2 areas dedicated to Japanese floor sitting in an upper level in the back restaurant. Very romantic and private. The sushi bar and beverage bar are right inside the door with 2 sushi chiefs at your service. The drinks are fantastic. There are 4 tables in the bar and then a three step down into a a Japanese decor of additional tables. The restaurant is small, intimate, and a lovely place to enjoy so many different types of fish, seafood, sushi, Tempura, rice noodle bowls, and nightly specials. Misaki is very popular so make sure to book reservations ahead of time. It's always a great experience.

The food was very good, though I found the monkey balls disappointing. Served our large group with aplomb. Several stairs -- not accessible.Wheelchair accessibility: None

Tasty and healthy dinner tonight at Misaki Sushi Bar (379 W. Main St., Hyannis), just the wife and I. Over many years it was a family favorite for quality sushi and sashimi, the closest we could get on Cape to the quality of sushi we enjoyed in southern California for nearly forty years. Made a reservation the "old fashioned" way--by actually using the telephone (lol)--a few days ago for 6:30. We arrived on time, we greeted warmly and promptly seated. The restaurant was nearly full, but the staff seemed ample to the crowd. Our server, Ryan, asked us about water preference (we like to drink local, so we ordered tap). Two other servers stopped by to ask about water and we let them know we had already been taken care. We ordered drinks--my wife had a cucumber martini (which she savored throughout the meal) and decided to try one of their "no buzz" cocktails which was delicious--the spicy pineapple cucumber margarita. Just the right amount of tartness and spice to help stimulate the appetite; heck, I enjoyed two of them. We ordered--miso soup to start, followed by yellowfin tuna carpaccio for me and shrimp and vegetable tempura for my wife. Our "main" courses were a crunchy salmon roll for my wife and the sashimi assortment for me. Everything was exquisite. [I had wanted to order the Hamachi Yama which is a roasted yellowfin tuna collar. But even by 6:40 pm they were sold out of that delicacy. Ryan informed is that next time, when we make reservations, we can also ask them to put one of the collars aside for us (meaning me)]. The miso may be the best we've had on Cape in a long time--very flavorful and rich umami flavors served at just the right temperature so as not to burn the roof of one's mouth. The carpaccio dish was topped with a brunoise of tomatoes, onions, capers, and scallions, everything beautifully diced, showing off the knife skills of someone prepping in the kitchen, and all topped off with a flavorful olive oil. We were both impressed by the variety of vegetables which came with the tempura and included both a slice of lotus root and kabocha squash. Everything was fried crisp without any of the veggies inside the batter becoming mushy or losing the unique texture of each vegetable. The sashimi and the sushi roll tasted wonderfully fresh. Just a delicious array of foods. Despite its exterior, the inside of Misaki is charming, warm, and spic and span. Ryan attended to our satisfaction throughout the meal even as other tables were turning over. We hadn't dined there since the pandemic and were delighted with our experience this evening. Thank you for a memorable evening.

Very nice food presentation, small details that really makes the best experience. Lot's of raw sushi ? choice and the sushi bar was always busy. The best appetizer I've had in a while and teriyaki salmon was one of the best I've had. Obviously on the subject of sushi it all about your taste, some of them are quite simple and some are really special. The waitress was lovely and very professional.Make sure you make a reservation ahead if you want to be sitting. The space looked very limited.Parking: Limited parking spots.

Reservations required… they don’t say this on website, but if you don’t have one, you don’t get a table. Very smug hostess.

As expected of authentic sushi. For the price point, they should not be using generic Kikkoman soy sauce since the salt will overpower any taste. Miso soup was 9/10. Tamago sushi was 8/10.

Really enjoyed Misaki. The menu is varied but the specials are artful and delicious. I love Wakame salad. I think I'm used to a larger serving of that. But every other item we ordered was very generous. We ended up getting a box for our leftovers. The Black Widow roll was fantastic! A myriad of flavors. MmmmmI recommend!
