I am the third generation of using this bank, and this branch. The staff is amazing and I have always received excellent advice and assistance every time I need it. Even the people in the call center are helpful and take the extra time to make sure you have what you need. I know that this was Hyde Park Savings, the Blue Hills Bank and now Rockland Trust, but so many people have stayed there through the different acquisitions, I hope they treat these emplioyees well. Special Shout Out to Judy in this branch - her patience with the elderly members of my family is nothing short of sainthood.

Entire company is a joke and this branch is one of the worst that there is. My account was overdrafted more than once without my knowledge and I wasn't notified of it when it happened, they sent me something in the mail which I didn't receive right away. When I realized what had happened I called the bank and the person that answered the phone told me that they didn't deal with those kinds of issues and that they would have someone return my call who did I waited two days and never received a call. So I called back and found out they had already closed my account and now say I owe them literally 10 times the amount of money that what was overdrafted from my account. They refuse to work with me on it and said that I owe them that money and that that's all there is to it and that it's my responsibility not theirs to keep track of overdrafts. They're not responsible for notifying me if my account is overdrafted so what happens if my debit card was stolen and somebody charged $10,000 to the card overdrafted the account and I didn't know about it? Its not their responsibility to notify me?? Absolutely disgusting. Worst treatment I've ever received from a bank.

This bank decided to make a withdrawal from my account because “a regular customer didn’t know her savings account number and this one generated when they typed in the name.” Have never even been to this location and they treated me as if it was no big deal that more than half my savings account was withdrawn due to a teller entering the wrong account information. They obviously do not check ID at this location or compare signatures. Betty Ann and Rebecca should probably be trained in regards to asking for SSN if they are looking up account numbers. Can’t imagine somebody else unfortunately having a more common name than I do.

Representative was rude. Removed her mask several times. After identifying myself and tried to finish my transactions I was ask to remove my mask in front of several people on the office. After going back and I was denied to finish to my transaction.

I have been a costumer of Blue Hills Bank for about 7 years. I had a mortgage with them and I have a checking account. I emailed a loan officer about a Home Equity Loan and it's been three business days and I've yet to even have a response. Well Blue Hills, you just lost my business and in the very near future I'm closing the account. This is the third time I've had what can only be described as poor and unprofessional service. If the person in question is out of the office or on vacation it's a good idea to have an e-mail message that informs people of that. It would also be a good idea for the loan officer to get his/her act together as this is all they have to do, connect with people. Ignoring people is not a good way to do business.
