I had originally wrote this review because of Seans unprofessionally, and because he charged for things he didn’t do to my motor.
I am now updating the review because Sean later reached out to me on facebook threatening to write a negative review for my place of business in return. This place is extremely unprofessional.

I went here looking to get my outboard fixed. Sean looked at my motor and ordered the parts needed for the repair. For the first few weeks he told me the the parts were on back order. After not hearing about my motor for a while I tried to get in touch with Sean, but he would not respond to my texts or calls. This went on for about two weeks. When I did finally get in touch with him, I found out he had canceled the order weeks ago without notifying me. Sean then agreed to only charge me for the diagnosis, but when I got to his shop to get my outboard he ended up charging me for parts that were not used. The diagnosis ended up costing me over $600 and the parts that were never used cost me over $150. He made the mistake to cancel the parts order without asking, then charged me for his mistake. In the end my motor was not repaired and I lost $750. I highly recommend finding a different place to have your motors serviced unless you’re okay with getting ignored and overcharged.

Absolutely awful services. Cuts every corner and doesn’t do things he charges you for. More concerned with getting paid than actually doing a good job. Highly suggest that people look else where and use him as a last resort if your don’t mind getting ripped off

Sean hauled my 34 for Boston Whaler from ME to RI. His price was reasonable, his service was excellent, and he delivered perfectly. Would recommend without reservation!

THIS COMPANY IS AMAZING. We have been using CCM for over 5 years. We found them to rebuild our exhaust for our 2004 Yamaha 4 strokes dual 225s for our Grady White. This was NO easy job and they had to do it for BOTH engines. They have Hauled us out, Winterized, Wrapped AND DELIVERED our boat for the past 5 years. For the past 5 years including YESTERDAY they have launched us. We have needed work done in the past where they have hauled our boat out from our mooring, Fixed it and brought it back. Not many companies I know do that. They are AMAZING, FANTASTIC, AWESOME, And FAIR PRICED.

Not many companies I know do that. They are AMAZING, FANTASTIC, AWESOME, And FAIR PRICED. If you have been around boats all your life, you know that repairs take time. It's not like going to a car dealership with 25 guys on staff to cater to your every need. When you find a Marine Mechanic that does great work, you hold on tight to them and treat them like GOLD. If your boat is your baby then treat the man taking care of your baby WELL. If you are a RUDE A**HOLE then please expect the same treatment in return. The guy ranting in the review below seems to be one of those guys. DEMANDING service but not being extremely clear of what he wants. You are a grown individual. You have the choice to go somewhere else if the mechanic will not give you an estimate or put things in writing for you. Verbal requests without written confirmation? That's on you!! He seems to purchase aftermarket Crap and then blames the mechanic when the boat runs poorly. We all know that if you buy CRAPPY parts to save money then you run the risk of your baby running CRAPPY. Don't expect any type of warrantee for aftermarket parts. That's only common sense. Your boat is a LUXURY item so expect to pay a FAIR price to maintain and fix it. If you pull your boat out late in the season, then you run the risk of temperatures dipping below freezing before the mechanic can get to your project. Then in the middle of a Pandemic this guy DEMANDS service AGIAIN. Honestly, where does this guy get off treating others this way? This company is wonderful and I recommend them as long as you are an intelligent person who knows how to treat others. Additionally, Please look at the other reviews for John A. He is not satisfied with ANYONE in the marine industry. Seems he is RUDE to everyone he comes in contact with.

Dose not care about his work or his customers. Does not return calls, text, or emails. Also he wont give an estimate, just a bill and when he's done you need to pay him that day or he keeps emailing you bill's everyday, even with your boat still at his shop. Shame on me for giving him a second chance this season against several people's recommendation. Basically everything Sean touched on my boat needs to be redone. He didn't winterize my BRAND NEW ac system in time after he pulled the boat and I sent him an email about what needed to be done before the cold, I also verbally told him when pulled the boat. Brand new hydraulic steering system is not right, takes a lot of effort to turn. This have been verified by the marina mechanic and my friends exact same boat with the same system. New lower units he installed are not adjusted correctly. One engine can only hit 70% throttle. Reason for new lower units is that he did not use the correct etec gear oil, first thing the etec shop said when I brought them the lower units bc I knew something was wrong. Same injector seal he replaced is leaking again. Stripped out a zink bolt thread on the new lower unit causing the prop to keep hitting the zink, now the prop needs fixing. I have given him several chances to respond or even come look at this mess, he has chosen to ignore me. My marina will be fixing all his work. I will be seeking reimbursement or a court date. Estimated repairs are $3000 - $5000. The ac system with installation is almost $3000, hopefully it can be repaired. Review stays up and will be updated with as the situation progresses. Update. He just told he's not working because of the shutdown. Apparently this includes any communication or response. My boat is all alone on a dock and he wont warranty his poor work but had no problem doing the work during the shutdown and taking my money. STAY AWAY

Sean was a man of his word and took care of my boat. Would highly recomend if your boat is in need of service in the north shore . Located in ipswich very central to all the boating areas.
