When my computer totally froze and wouldn't do anything after powering down and up again, Ron diagnosed the problem in seconds. I was back up and running in 10 minutes.

Computer Doctor is a real computer “healer”. I called the owner, Ron Elkin, to set up my new lap top including transfers from the old laptop.He did so much more, he came right out as scheduled, he made money saving suggestions, patiently listened to and responded to my questions and generally made the process, for a non-techie, simple. All at a reasonable cost. I highly recommend him.

:) It's not cheap, but Computer Doctor fixed my old iPhone and resealed the screen, no questions asked, after Apple refused to fix it and left the screen unsealed. Plus, unlike Apple service, I didn't have to wait a week for my appointment and wait on the cold for a hour - Computer Doctor came to my door in the morning, and brought my phone back the same evening.

I called Ron Elkin to inquire about a possible home visit. We spoke twice on the phone as he was driving. He offered a few suggestions, just about all of which I had tried before and none of which helped at all. In the end, he told me that it did not sound as if he could help with this problem. There was no discussion of charges for the discussion. Neither did he ask me for contact information such as an address. A couple of days later, the mail brought a bill from him for his time. He added no value and did not pretend to. The transaction fails the basic business principles of being forthcoming and above board.

Wish we had NEVER gotten involved with the Computer Doctor! We have had problem after problem with the computer we got from him-constantly losing info, calling him with problems and issues. Our printer stopped working after 1 month-after several messages to him, he told us it was a piece of junk-so why did he sell it to us? Constantly calling, and when I do get him, he gets very defensive and belligerent, acting as if issues are my fault. He hasn't returned my last two calls so we've given up calling him. He is insistent that icons are on my computer that just aren't there, and gets upset with me when I try to explain they're not. We've wasted well over $1200 on a computer, printer, and repairs. When I mention his name at Staples, I was told he was a quack. Really regret dealing with him. Do NOT recommend.

For the second time in as many months The Computer Doctor has run stop signs and almost hit me and my young son. Pro tip: if you want to drive like a j**** don’t put your company name on your car! Karma’s a B!tch, good luck when she catches up.

I have had the opportunity to work with Ron with two of my computers. I cant say enough about his knowledge and professionalism. He fixed both of my computers quickly and I was not over charged! I am someone who doesn't know a lot about computers and I appreciated the advise he gave me. I highly recommend Ron!

I had my laptop taken to The Computer Doctor and Ron, the owner, was very helpful in diagnosing my computer problems, along with being timely in its fix. Ron personally picked up and dropped off my laptop, so it was nice to be able to see the owner participating in hands-on customer interaction. He was flexible when it came to the customers needs completely. My computer is now running more efficiently and faster. It’s like it’s brand new. I highly recommend his services.

This guy drives like an a******* I wouldn't trust someone that can't operate a vehicle like an adult with my computer or sensitive data. Take your blue Subaru and drive it into a lake.

Ron the Computer Doctor makes house calls and has the prescription for what ails your computer. I recently needed to revert to using an old and slow laptop that often froze. I searched for someone to help and saw that Ron was local to Ipswich and had great reviews. I called him on a late afternoon and we made an appointment for him to stop by the next day. When he came over, he was wearing a mask and I was too, and we maintained social distancing. Having him there in person was helpful because he could ask me questions (eg, do you use this program or can I remove it?), give me advice (eg, on managing shared files, effects of upgrading speed), and directly point things out to me on the computer itself. My computer worked better after he was done, and the cost was reasonable. If I have a future problem with my laptop or related technology (smartphone etc.), Ron will be the first person I'll call.

Ron was awesome! Built a pc myself and couldn't get it to boot. He fixed it no issue. He was fast to respond and start the job. Work was done in a short time frame and the cost was minimal. Great guy to work with!

There was someone in a Subaru with Computer Doctor signage on 114 today driving like a complete tool. Speeding, tailgating, lane jumping, beeping at everyone. I would not do business with anyone that represents a company this way.
