If you like your wheels or vehicle.. Avoid this location, and maybe even every Monro location. Came in with 4 clean unscratched wheels left with scratched wheels missing clean coat.

Everyone I dealt with was very friendly and helpful. I gad an 8am appointment and there was only one mechanic in at the time but he was smart fast and very helpful. I knew my car was in good hands.

My appointment was made promptly and accuratley. When I arrived, I was greeted and was scheduled to have 4 tires mounted and balanced. While scheduling the tire service, it was highly reccomended by the service advisor to have a wheel alignment service along the tire service to which I agreed. I was told my car would be ready in 2 hours. I left the keys to the car and returned 4 hours later to find my car was on the alignment rack. I went in to pay for the services and was told it would be $300.03 for the service, at which point i asked for an itemized bill, which I was provided.
I was charged $30.99 labor and a $4.50 recycling fee for each tire, totalling of $141.96.
I had question that while I had ordered my tires from Tire Rack and understood that Monro is an authorized installer. The advertised cost was much less. It was only $23.00 labor, with no recycling fee, totaling $92.00. At this time the manager told me that the tires would have to be delivered directly to Monro in order to honor that price and declined to charge the lower amount.
At this time I paid the full amount and my car was outside and ready. I walked out and the mechanic handed me my keys, I walked around my car for a visual inspection of the new tires and saw white substance surrounding the outside of the rims, that I thought was damage. It apparently was some white gel like substance that I havent seen before. After starting my car, I noted that it was already at normal operationg tempature, by the water (205 degrees), oil(224 degrees) and transmission (177 degrees f) tempature gauges. It takes me 15-20 miles of driving driving to reach reach these tempatures, while I only drove the car 2 mile to Monro. Its obvious that my car was either driven harshly or excessively by Monro personnel. Although I paid for an alignment, I did not receive an alignment report and find the car drives exactly as it did before I brought it in, still pulling to the left.

My daughter needed a new exhaust before she had her car inspected. Monro in kingston not only squeezed her in but gave her the best deal possible. I can not thank them enough for everything Scott and his staff did for us. Update 4/10/24 have gone here for my tires back In September had small leak they tried to reseal it the other day and still didn’t work so I ended up getting it replaced under warranty but everyone there was so helpful

I was having troubles with my exhaust and was fully planning on having to replace the whole muffler at my other shop but came here instead since i had heard wonderful reviews and recommendations. Was very glad i did! Ended up not needing a whole new muffler in the end and was on my way within the hour! Very pleased with the experience i had and i will definitely be coming back :)

I have always great customer service and service for my car here. But, I had to write because of what happened today. Holly, the service manager, went above and beyond with her customer service. Even though I live one town over, she went out of her way to drive me home and back because she knew I had a long wait for my car. Thank you Holly for your exceptional and excellent service.

It is obvious that there is a new owner/manager of the store. I have been a customer since 2016 and have always had a great experience. Yesterday was my last trip to Monro in Kingston. I dropped my pick up truck off in the morning for an oil ,lube and filter change. The most expensive oil change I have ever had there was $60. I picked up my truck and was changed $146.08. I asked the manager if there had been anything else done to my truck. His answer " No ". I asked about the outrageous price and was clearly being " ripped off ". His explanation was " It's not the oil that is expensive, it's the additives to the oil " YEAH OK....over a 100% increase in price. Take my advice and stay as far away from this place as possible. I will be finding another shop to work on my truck.

We spent a long, cold, rainy morning dealing with a screw in the tire of a rental car and the rental company sent us here.Holly was kind, compassionate, and friendly. Although the tire itself was not repairable and they did not have the replacement in stock, Holly had the tire changed to the spare. She invited us to stay in the warm waiting area while I waited on hold with the rental company, and chatted with us making us feel completely at ease.We lost an entire day of travel being sent by the rental company to other tire places and eventually to the Providence airport, but Holly's warmth, kindness, and generosity were a bright spot what would have otherwise been a stressful and dismal day.In a world filled with corporate rental car companies, call centers, unfriendly and anonymous customer service, and waiting on hold for 45 minutes for roadside assistance it is comforting to know that there are also friendly places with staff like Holly, who Munro should do everything in their power to keep on staff!
