“Haven't been here for quite a while, attended quite a few sport & food events back in the day. Just recently attended a private baseball banquet under the pavilion, and felt the same great relaxed atmosphere, so now have to leave a review.. Easy to find, not far at all off the highway. Right there, but isolated & chill location to enjoy summer activities. Well run & maintained. Sun & shade wooded area, pits, pavilion, function hall and plenty of parking for everything. “Saw the play Ellen's Boys at the Beal House. Victoria Bond is a tour de force as the shrewish Irish mother who doesn't like "eye-talians" and those of "Jewish persuasion". The playwright Jim Sullivan tackles the worst of the 1950s and 1960s in a lace curtained Irish home sprinkled with pictures on the wall of Jesus, the Virgin Mary and JFK . Funny at times, the cast delivered a powerful look at blatant prejudices that made me cringe. The only glimmer of hope was a ticket to NYC.”

“We used Jones River as our reception venue for our wedding last summer and it was fantastic. We had many complements on how cool people though the venue looked/the atmosphere.

The food was fantastic and Michelle was a great help!

It also ended up being more reasonably priced than any other venue we looked at in the area.

There was plenty of parking, lots of options for food, and a willingness to accommodate for dietary restrictions without any fuss or up-charges (as long as it was only a few plates that had to be special).

I will say that they conduct most business over phone until about a month before when Michelle gets in touch, which was a little phone tag to get things sorted, but if I had to do it all over again, I would use Jones River.”
