“First time ever going to an art show/ exhibit. I must say the set up of cafe with art pieces was very nicely done. Very comfortable for first timer for sure. I went to support my new friend Frankie Borrero. We share a common bond of having a Traumatic brain injury (TBI). And I met him through attending a Traumatic Brain Injury support group. We meet bi weekly. 14 hours a week. So in the past year I have got to know him very well because I am an artist as well. Not on his level whatsoever but just having that connection with him is a great thing. So going somewhere to help support my new friend was great. And a super easy a nice venue for a TBI first timer. Allowing him to shine for his hard work was great. Kudios to the Good Purpose Gallery. Ty for providing a great venue. #TraumaticArtista”

“There is some exquisite work in this gallery. Check the porcelain/ gold pieces. So many wonderful pieces! Lovely staff. If for no other reason, you really should stop in just for the experience. You won’t regret it.”

“Entertainment and education of the Arts occur here in the evening. When staying in Lenox, Ma., check their schedule for you may find something that stirs your interest. The events differ every night. It is small and personal venue with the professionals. Seats about 25, so call head that day for a reservation. It is about two hours. And there is a small Art gallery too. An enjoyable and unexpected evening.”

“Eclectic place of Eastern esoterica. Yet, I've always been able to find something and the owner knows the story of each item. Sadly after 30 years the store is closing at its current location. I hope it reappears soon.”

“In this current world wobble, it was a kind of gift to find oneself in a place of unexpected joy and wonder. A visit to Vision Studios is a visit into the possibilities of an artful imagination.”

“We stumbled upon Turn Park after finding the No. 6 Coffee Roastery (see previous review). We are glad we did!!! The park consists of woods and meadows converted into multiple sculpture galleries. It felt like a big playground for adults. We went on a Saturday morning and we’re the only ones there. For a 10$ fee you can meander through the sculpture meadows. Creative intentional pieces dating from the 1970s. Some are funny some are thoughtful. Each provides a unique perspective and talking point that had my boyfriend and I discussing!”

“This is the kind of store where you browse for things you didn't know you wanted, but the uniqueness of the item makes it a 'must have'. The first time I visited this store 6 months ago I bought some unique, wooden, coasters. I always get compliments on them. Visiting the other day I didn't buy anything but enjoyed looking around at the new merchandise. Everything is one of a kind and something you won't find anywhere else. This is a 'must stop' anytime passing thru Great Barrington.”

“Sienna has personally curated jewelry to go with dresses I wear to special events. She has an astonishing eye and I just love the process of working with her! And her jewlery is singular---one of a kind.”

“I recently paid a first-time visit to the spacious and light-filled Bernay gallery especially to see the paintings of Harriet Joffe, part of the gallery's Winter Group Show. One of the owners was present and happy to answer my questions and share a few insights into the paintings of the other artists whose work was on display. Unlike what often happens in other galleries that I have been in, I was free to roam and take it all in without any kind of "sales" pressure. I highly recommend catching this particular show before it ends in late February. Although the individual artists' paintings all appear to be very different, I found a very interesting textile reflection in many of them.”

“We own two, large beautiful pieces by the talented Marilyn Kalish (one from her Paris collection and one from her horse collection). We had the wonderful honor of meeting the artist and hearing about her process. Our experience working with the gallery and Alan was fantastic. Looking forward to visiting the Berkshires and seeing more of her work!”

“Fantastic selection of uniquely crafted artisan items. Great store if seeking quality gifts for others or for self. Different from other local store/gallery offerings in the area and fairly priced.”

“I see now that I was saving my first Google review until I found a business that was consistently both unique and exceptional. Now that I’ve spent more than three years enjoying all this multi layered gallery has to offer, my search is over. I’m one of those people who has been obsessed with taking pictures and enjoying photographs since I was ten. From flash bulbs to Polaroids and Kodachrome to digital images, I was hooked. So, when I found the Sohn Fine Art Gallery with Cassandra Sohn and John Clarke in Lenox, Ma., I was surprised and delighted. I believe this is a place where the owner’s passion for photography has been developed, expanded and expressed to include the gamut of fine art photography. I’ve been fortunate enough to have bought some framed limited edition prints that I love, have had my own pictures edited into photographs, printed and framed, and have had hours of wonderful conversation about photography. There is a warm, relaxed, sophisticated energy that involves you as you walk in the door. My first visit found a remarkable show of extraordinary male nudes. In a town like Lenox, it was an unexpectedly fun experience. While consequently ending my relationship with full length mirrors, the show’s courage blew me away. Since then, I’ve been provoked, educated, amazed, amused and calmed by Cassandra’s thoughtfully curated eclectic exhibitions of both local and internationally known photographers. Cassandra has provided a safe haven and a beautiful showcase for her own, John’s and many other excellent imaginative fine art photographers as well as a place where my images are treated with the utmost care and concern while they work to bring out the best possible photograph before John exercises his jewel of a talent for turning them into rich exciting prints. I can heartily recommend this business to anyone who enjoys photography or who thinks they may like to learn. Keep up the great work, Walter J. Vandervoort”
