These guys went above and beyond with helping us and our puppy girl. She would not have made it without their immediate care and action. We are beyond grateful and can not put in to words how amazing they are. Dr. Shanahan is a gem, with a kind heart and incredible skills. The whole staff not only comforted us through the process but were incredible with our dog. I have been going there for years but this time was the true test and we are forever grateful . We had never been to Valley Vet before. We had an emergency situation with our Bunny, that required immediate medical attention. No questions asked they took us in ASAP. They were so thorough and explained all of our options and did the surgery. The surgery it's self went good, however our Bunny just wasn't strong enough to pull through. We also had Babies involved and they also took care of our babies while trying to help the Mother Bunny. We went to pick up our bunnies and

I can not say enough about Valley Veterinary, Dr. Shanahan and all of her staff! My 110 pound baby is one that hates anyone touching his paws and turns into Mr. Cujo when trying to cut his nails. Dr. Shanahan is always patient and understanding with him and will do whatever it takes to make sure he has a positive experience. From the drop-off to the pick-up, they make us feel like Papi is one of their family and treat him with love and compassion. He always comes home with perfect nails. I have used Dr. Shanahan for years with all of my pets and I would never trust anyone more than her and her staff! We are so fortunate to have such a compassionate animal lover in the Berkshires! I HIGHLY recommend Valley Vet to anyone that is in need of a great group of animal loving professionals!

I can not say enough about Dr Shanahan and her entire staff! They have always made me feel like my babies are the most important pets they have had. They are patient, compassionate and knowledgeable and I highly recommend them for all of your fur babies!

When the unfortunate time came to put my 13.5 year old dog down, all the staff were very professional and companionate. His ashes were returned to me in a timely fashion with care and dignity.

I've brought several wildlife orphans to Dr. Shanahan and she has been terrific with all of them! She responds immediately and takes good care of all the animals. I'm beyond grateful to have her nearby!!!

superb pet clinic!!! We have been clients for at least 15 years now.Dr. Shanahan, especially, is a very bright, well-informed, caring, and patient veterinarian. It is easy to park and get in and out of the clinic.We have been to vets in other cities and none compares to Dr. S. and Valley Vets.

It's hard to find a vet for exotics on short notice, but valley vet scheduled our rats for a check up immediately when we called with concern of upper respiratory infections- even with our girls being new patients. The vet was gentle and patient and the bill was incredibly reasonable for two rats having full check ups and medication. We even have our dog now set up in their system so we can schedule him for his shots/annual later this year. Finding a new reliable vet is now checked off the to-do list!

Went back to put my cat to sleep. That process was fine, scheduling was easy and office staff was very sympathetic. Again, though, very very difficult to reach afterward. Was told ashes would be ready today, phone number isn't working, haven't heard from them all day. My partner felt the vet was rather callous about the whole thing. I won't be returning here with future pets

I have been using Valley veterinary service as for the last 15 years. Dr. Shanahan and her staff are the most caring considerate group of professionals that I have had the pleasure to have to deal with. From getting my cat fixed to having to put my dog to sleep Valley Vet Marie Services is truly a professional operation.
