The Bookstore and Get Lit Wine Bar offers a great collection of books. The owner is knowledgeable and well connected, and customers feel warm and friendly. The shop has a unique selection and a documentary about it is worth seeing, giving insight into small business ownership in a small town. Visitors have driven 600 miles to enjoy author events, including three in one week, and find the atmosphere welcoming. Book readings by authors from Fourteen Days were held. The store is gorgeous and the owner cares abt books and customers. It is a go‑to place, even late, and the first stop after groceries. The woman at the register looks up titles, offers to order them, and the service is great. Customers leave satisfied, having purchased several books at reasonable prices.
A real treat … surprisingly extensive and eclectic array of books. Lots of old classics I’d forgotten about mixed with the latest and best stuff. Don’t miss out on the history and travel sections in the wine bar / side room (‘Get Lit’).

Huge variety of current and olders books in many genres in this shop that celebrated their 50th anniversary this year! Owner was very pleasant and helpful, as I noted that he worked to order in some special orders for a customer.
