We just completed a long distance move with ABC and it went as well or better than expected. They handled all our belongings as if they were their own. Communication with our move coordinator went well and we are very satisfied!

Associates are very slow to return calls and emails. They left us hanging in the dark for multiples weeks after agreeing to a specified date. Then a week out they call and told us they couldn't do it anymore after not returning our calls and emails. Incredibly frustrating experience.Edit: After leaving this review, an associate called me and left a 3 minute voicemail of him relieving himself in the restroom.

I have made a contact to ship my moving packages internationally, from US to Republic of Korea. My package was picked up on April 1, 2022. Since then there seems to be no progresses at all. First they promised it will take about one month to deliver to destination, then the shipping date is pushed to May 10, then May 28. They promised to update of the status of shipping, that never realized. For two months, my package is lost, and I have no idea where it is now. I have already paid in full (after the invoice was available (Apr, 19). three weeks from pick up). There was no explanation, no date set for shipping or arrival, no apology. Every time I send email or call, they said they will update, but never keep their words. For your convenience the registration number for this issue is **** *******, and the contract began at ****** *************. (ABC is an affiliate, I guess)

Packing resulted in totally unrelated items together in boxes that were poorly labelled making it extremely hard to find items you were looking for. Because we couldn’t find critical items we ended having to purchase replacements. At delivery they tried to charge $1400 more than agreed on a fixed price contract because their packing estimate was to low. We refused as our contract was fixed. If they went under we would have paid the same as if they went over.

Items missing, claim denied, no responseWe hired ABC for a cross country move. On arrival some items were missing and the driver was informed. He made a phone call and stated that our rug was still on a rack at the warehouse. He gave instructions on submitting a claim, which we followed. The claim was denied for no evidence of a loss. As stated on our claim, we’re not looking for monetary compensation - we want the rug shipped, and for someone to look through the warehouse for the other items. Since the claim was denied a month ago we have contacted the insurance company, our customer service rep Jordyn M at ABC, and the manager Chris H of ABC, and no one has responded to any emails or phone calls. We paid for zero deductible replacement insurance, don’t understand why the claim was denied, and can’t get more information about it. We have legs here for a shelving unit but half of the shelves themselves are missing, in a size that is no longer made. The missing rug and pad match our upholstered furniture. We feel shocked to be treated so poorly. Our cost of replacing our items would be lower than the cost of hiring an attorney to pursue this, which ABC must realize since they have decided that we don’t merit any explanation or even the courtesy of a response. Hire someone else if your care about your belongings.

If I could give this company a 0 I would. This is the first time i have ever written a review, positive or negative. I hired ABC Moving for an interstate move because the binding estimate was the lowest estimate of all the companies I contacted. The beginning of the move went perfect, they showed up on time, the agent was responsive to my questions and calls. However, when it came to deliver my belongings, this is where all the problems occurred. The customer service is awful, they did not take responsibility for the ALL the problems that occurred during this move. They overbilled me, caused $4k worth of damage, and opened my boxes and repacked them after my property left my possession. Stay away from them if you value you time and stuff.

I would not recommend this service to ANYONE. From start to finish, my experience was horrible. Not only did this company not take care of my things, but have horrible customer service and refuse to talk to you. Originally, my items were moved out of my apartment and put into storage. Upon purchasing a new home, I gave the company 45 days notice (that's how long my close was) as to when I would move into my new home. I kept getting responses that equated to not knowing when they would get me my things. I was given various 2 week time frames as to when it could potentially arrive. As I got closer to moving day, I would ask for updates and was told there was no update, and no one had been assigned to my move yet. I kept asking and asking. It finally came to closing day and still NO ONE had been assigned to my move. I kept asking and still could not get an update and was told "we are short on drivers." It was then nearly 2.5 weeks after I had moved into my home with nothing. With all of this, I would try to call to talk to someone and go to voicemail every time. As soon as I would leave a voicemail, within an hour I would get an email. My voicemails continued to share that I wanted to speak with someone - no one would talk to me. I would go days without responses as well. The company then decided to crate ship my things. After paying for storage for nearly 4 months, and waiting nearly 3 weeks for my stuff, they crate shipped my items. In the crates, they ONLY protected my belongings with card board. My furniture was only protected by cardboard. What good would that do? On the 21st day, they arrived with my items. As the drivers were taking things off the truck THEY WERE TELLING ME how bad it was it was only wrapped in cardboard and that my items were damaged. It then came time to get my bed off the truck; it was snapped in pieces. The movers then lined up broken bed pieces in my home for my claim. Upon doing so, the broken bed frame dented my front door knob and then as they leaned it up against the wall, it fell and put a hole in my wall. This damage is being "denied by the company" since the drivers left no record of doing so. What driver is going to unprompted share with their boss they damaged someone's home?! Additionally, I was told that the other damage to my other items could be traditional wear and tear and since I cannot prove the move did it - they are denying all but 2 pieces that are visibly snapped in pieces. Not only am I now out thousands of dollars (after paying for the storage for my now broken pieces of furniture), I have waited WEEKS. It has now been 3 months since I've moved into my house, 2 months since my items arrived, and just now my claim is being "finalized." I have been trying to talk to someone about the claims and the denials - and same thing, no one will call me back. I leave voicemails and instead get emails. There is NO concern for customers. NO concern for their customers belongings. How is it that it would have been cheaper and better for me to trash my things upon move, not store them and start over? DISGUSTING.

Do not use this company at any cost! Julian Coles, the CEO, and the rest of the employees at this organization do not care about you, your belongings or any commitments made to you when you sign their contract. Once you sign their contract and they have your belongings, you are at their mercy. They will deliver your belongings whenever they feel like it and you will not be compensated for it. In fact, you are expected to pay the full amount quoted to you before they will deliver your property! Every time we tried to talk to someone about the delay of our belongings we were reminded of the full payment due BEFORE they deliver your stuff. We recently moved to Kentucky and we were told our belongings would arrive last Tuesday, after repeated phone calls and emails that went unanswered for days, we were finally given a new date which is two weeks later! We can understand a delay of a day or two, but 2 weeks? We have yet to receive our belongings so who knows if that date is even accurate. I say because every time you speak with someone, no one takes accountability for what is going on and you can never get a straight answer and that includes the top of the organization. You will be repeatedly told "we are following the limits of the terms and agreement that was provided to you when you signed the contract", but when they do not fulfill their part of the contract, you are then told to file a claim with van lines. We signed a contract with Allen and Coles moving systems, but we have to file a claim with Van Lines. It's the old bait and switch game all day long. They just say the same thing over and over until you are just tired of trying to get anywhere with them. Beware of Bill Biniszkiewicz, he is a sheep in wolves clothing. He is the person who came to our home to provide us the original quote which was off by 3k. He also told us that he would be back at our home two days before they were to begin packing our stuff to give us a more accurate quote, but he never showed up. We were told that it would cost an additional 3k AFTER they picked up our belongings! Then we were given the run around by several other employees including the VP, John Kane. We also reached out to the president of the company and his response was "I don't keep up with day to day operations". In other words, I don't give a s*** about your problems, have one of my completely inept employees take care of it. And when I say inept, I am being as polite as possible. I have no idea how this organization is in business, but beware that these clowns operate more than one moving company out of Leominster, MA and Portland, ME. There are several companies that operate under the JRC holding company. We signed with Allen and Coles moving, but North American Van lines, ABC movers and Allied are also managed by this same group. My advice is to do your homework before you sign with any moving company, check the Better Business Bureau(we did not and this company has many complaints) and if you see any of the names I have listed above, RUN!

Our move went smoothly, and it was clear they knew what they were doing! Communication was a little spotty at some points, but overall ABC Moving was accommodating, professional, and efficient.

I contacted ABC Moving to help with moving a large microscope without any idea how to handle this move. They were very kind and helpful on the phone as we discussed this difficult move. It was wonderful to have someone who was very experienced and very communicative during this process. I highly recommend their services for any type of move you are looking for!

This is the absolute worst move we have ever experienced. Our furniture was packed the first week of May 2021 by packers who went to their cars every 20 minutes to smoke pot, items were left behind that had to be mailed to our new address. Our furniture was loaded May 7 and promised to us multiple times by the 17th of May. No one communicated with us the entire week prior to scheduled delivery, the morning of the 17th we had to call and ask where our delivery was. We were told our furniture never left Massachusetts. According to both Allied and ABC it was now scheduled to be delivered May 26. No delivery. Now it is scheduled for June 1. Meanwhile we have been in our house for over a week with no furniture, clothes, etc. we have been treated very rudely. Worst customer service we have ever encountered. If you are thinking of moving, do not use ABC or Allied
