Words can not describe my awful experience with this CVS location. The don’t listen to your needs. My medication was quoted at $1800 per month, several weeks ago, but they failed to mention that if you went to the formularies’s website, the first two fills were free and subsequent fills were no more than $15 apiece.
They made me go without this medication for six weeks while I fought with Blue Cross Blue Shield in order to get it covered. When the entire time I could have had the medicine, because of an indefinite coupon that I simply saved to my wallet.
I eventually did get Blue Cross Blue Shield to cover it, but still, it is cheaper to go through the formularies coupon.
I asked them twice to shelve an old medication that I didn’t require to be filled, but they filled it anyway and charged my husband for it. He unwittingly brought it home after I requested that it be put back twice, and they have it documented. From Friday and Monday, to put it back. They told me it takes 48 hours to put a medicine back and cancel it, which is utter BS. I have to now go back across town to return it.
When I finally did inform them that the expensive medication was covered on Friday, they told me they had to “Special” order it and then it wouldn’t be in, and filled until Monday morning. Monday morning came around, and they told me that they couldn’t fill it until 5:30 at night.
By 6 o’clock the medication still wasn’t filled and they pushed me off on the phone again like I was some villain attempting a coup. They don’t seem to want to provide any service, and one person tells you one thing and then another person tells you something else entirely.
They always start off their sentences with, “I don’t know who you talked to, but…”
Hey! CVS on Nelson Street allegedly in Watertower Plaza Leominster, I’m talking to YOU!
Treat your patients with some decency and care. It seems as if all of the employees at this pharmacy are fairly numb to human warmth and compassion. They don’t care if someone goes without a medication, it means nothing to them.
They just want your money, they don’t care about helping you. This whole debacle is dirtier than the floor of a Walmart bathroom.
Honesty and integrity is sorely lacking. You don’t want to help anyone if you don’t have to. I would refer to the handling of my medications and account as treated carelessly, extremely dishonestly, as well as lazily with a lack of any feeling whatsoever. Do better.

They treat you like utter dirt at this 24 pharmacy CVS. Like you are trash for needing any additional help.
You leave messages and the recording says that they will call you back in an hour, and they NEVER do. it like your messages fall into a black hole that they don’t give a fig about. They are argumentative about things that your doctors are saying, and they will out and out lie to you to get you off the phone.
You will also NEVER get accurate information from any employee. It doesn’t matter if you have a raging infection, or require medication to live on, they would probably rather have you die, than have to do their job. I have never been treated so abhorrently by a team of people that are supposed to be care givers. Need something controlled? Then prepare yourself to be treated like an animal or less than human.
Take your scripts and medication needs elsewhere. I’m pretty sure that kids at the McDonald’s next door would do a better job working at this pharmacy. They may have less education and experience, but they are a hell of a lot kinder to you than the pharmacy school graduates you poach out of Worcester.
If I could give this CVS less than one star if I would… .

This used to be my go-to cvs in the area. After tonight for should quick pick up. Turning into having to explain 2 different clerks what pick up by date is different then delivered by date. Them trying to pick fight with over it. In the end, being proven wrong. Didn't care to say sorry or anything. Really a shame good store gone that far down hill

The Automated, the voice system is terrible. Probably one of the worst i've ever used and it's absolutely reduced ridiculous, trying to reach a human being to find out about your medications and on top of that, they screw up your medications more often than get them right go someplace else this place sucks!

The pharmacy is too busy to do their jobs well. They are always stressed and rude but it is hard to blame them when you see how busy they are. It has been this way for years. Something needs to be done.
