It's relatively small, but decently organized the girls helped out and very informative, I was looking for MCR merch. what they had in stock I already had. Overall they were very nice and patient and friendly with answering all my questions.

Most of the time I’m there, I’m always getting kicked out with me and my like 2 other friends for just looking around minding our business respecting the store, and it’s always by this tall women with black hair and like little eyebrows and circle glasses, but none of the other employees mind us they see us as a regular customer , and she’s also very nosey following us around and is rude and whenever we are about too leave she’s always like “empty out your pockets” and “get out” we never disrespect their rules, we just go there too look at their clothes witch also their selection is not the best. I think she’s racist, because my friends are people of color, but when ever I’m with just me and my boyfriend it never happens, and we go here often so she knows us for sure.

I love hot topic, there's great merchandise and I can find nice gifts for people. Today I had a quite negative experience, not because of the store but because the customer service or should I say lack thereof. I bought socks and the person I was with bought a shirt. The cashier scanned our items and I picked up the socks to put in my bag. In the most condescending snappy tone she said don't put it your bag until it's paid for. I totally understand, especially if it is company policy. However she did not have to treat us that rudely. Believe me, I have worked in customer service and I would NEVER take that tone with someone, especially if it was an honest mistake. I understand why she told me to not put it in my bag, but the rude condescending, belittling tone was highly unnecessary and unprofessional. Do better.
