Didn’t expect much from a post office…it’s the usual no smile, stone face, don’t really care attitude here. The Asian man whole deals with passports is nice and helpful. But most of the time, you just get what needs to be done and that’s it. No friendly faces. Sometimes, you can be waiting for a long time while you hear a bunch of people chatting in the back (it wasn’t lunch hours).

I went in to send two priority mail. The chinese asiatic manager was the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. She was Rude , obnouxious, without me saying anything she sends clients away. She treats everyone! clients and her colegues Terribly! They really need to get rid of her she has no profile to be working in customer service let alone being manager! USPS needs a clean up. On the other hand there was a very nice lady from Nepal that should be the Manager instead.

2nd update: so I told the lady in charge who called me specifically that I didn’t think it was the local mailman delivering to our house who’s been stealing my mail and coupons. We’ve had the same mailman forever without issues. Instead the lady goes to our mailman and tells him we’re accusing him of stealing our mail. She completely disregarded everything I said and was quick to throw our mailman under the bus. The problem is the leadership within USPS.
UPDATE: Someone from the Lexington post office did reach out to me. It was a positive interaction. Seemed professional and appropriately concerned. The problem is there is mail theft and package tampering somewhere along the chain. It is happening after the mail gets scanned and appears in Informed delivery. She told me that the mail arrives at the office pre sorted.
All I can say is the thief or thieves intercept coupon mailers and important financial letters after getting scanned into Informed delivery.
One of my retailer packages unusually got transferred to this post office which is rare and was tampered with a gaping hole cut out of it. Tracking shows that the only post office handling it was this one. Maybe tracking isn’t accurate who has handled my package but to me, in my 15-20 years of ordering without ever seeing this kind of damage, it’s hard for me to believe that cutting open a large hole in the side of the box was accidental.
I don’t know where these thieves are working out of internally or what office for sure but the United States Postal service has a very serious internal theft problem.
ORIGINAL POST:
Entire staff changed over and it’s now a very corrupt and unscrupulous office (even talking to anyone there gives me sketchy bad vibes along with a RUDE DISMISSIVE arrogant entitled attitude). Refuses to answer even the simplest question about mail forwarding. Zero empathy or compassion for customers with difficulties. Not surprised there’s a major chronic mail theft problem with this office and lucky if your mail even arrives on time.
Nowhere to get help for mail theft issues because the entire office is problematic. I filed many mail theft reports with USPS customer service but it’s a broken system so it’s all futile with no one either able to help or are part of the corrupt problem. Not even coupon mailers are safe. Every single Bath & Bodywork’s coupon voucher mailer that Informed shows should have been delivered has NEVER arrived at my mailbox all year. On Jan 10, 2025, Informed showed I was due to get my Bath & Body coupon mailer which I desperately was waiting for and of course NONE arrived. Thieves!!!!!!! Praying that someone high up at the Inspector General will do something about this horrible office someday where you can expect important financial letters and mailers from retail stores offering coupons for freebies to NEVER arrive.

Helped me package & mail important documents properly (not their job). Super “Murica” to dump on USPS workers (just looking at a LOT of USPS reviews) - if you don’t like the climate in general as a customer then not much will please you…they’re federal workers, these are the conditions our tax dollars provide for most government employees - we just happen to see USPS workers most, typically. Mistakes happen but it’s stunning that we rail on normal people for doing their jobs, and let politicians rob us blind while putting these employees with limited resources in our warpath when an envelope rips in transit. They’re not your doorman or concierge or sommelier, they’re mail processors who take a lot of garbage from literally everyone. It is a great place for some folk to go practice kindness 😬

The supervisor Aman and her team do wonders with limited resources they have. Compared to orher branches, I appreciate the superior dilligence and professionalism of the Lexington USPS team members

It is so sad that a federal office has such lousy customer service. Rude, lack of customer service. I went there asking for information about getting a passport, but the lady didn't even look at me and said she was close when it was just 2:30 pm. I wish these offices would train their workers better. If they can't handle customers, they should not work attending people.

USPS is not your answer for your problems, only package carrier that will not find your package at facility for pickup like UPS and FedEx. 0 stars

I Have been a Box holder at Lexington P.O. for about 50 years. I've always been treated with utmost respect and courtesy. After reading all the negative reviews, I think it's about time for an honest and positive review! The current staff and window clerks are all excellent, very helpful, and do their best under some trying situations. On occasion, I've seen customers become rudebecause they don't want to pay what is required for a service. The current staff always provides the various options for the service requested so the customer can choose what's best for them. No business can be perfect, but I think the staff in the Lexington does their best every single day! R.G.Mass. P.O.

I wish I could give it zero star. The staff in this post office are unbelievably rude and unprofessional. I told them I need 3 photos for the passport renewal purpose. They gave me 6 photos and charged $45. They said that's the way it works - 3 sets of photos with 2 photos for each set. The man, Lian, was very rude.

On the afternoon of August 16th, 2023, approximately between 2:30 and 3:00 PM, an individual resembling a biological female and employed at the USPS office exhibited remarkably disturbing racist behavior towards me. This person, characterized by their gray/white hair and red glasses, displayed an alarming level of prejudice.

Another horrible episode with the Lexington PO. No mail delivery for two days. Called the PO. Asked if my regular guy Carlos was working this week. I wanted the flyers that come every week, even if I don't have any other mail (which is highly unlikely). The foreign woman who answered (Asian) said to hold on, she would check, call Carlos on his cell, and let me know. She never came to the line, and then the line started going into that beeping tone. I hung up, called back, and since I am certain they saw it was me calling, they just let the line ring and ring and ring, never answered. No service from this PO. It's the same old, same old....I never use this PO with exception of having to go in occasionally to put my mail on hold. The Bedford MA PO is much more efficient, offering very good customer service.
