This is my go-to local hardware store. They have a little bit of everything. I buy 20-pound bags of black oil sunflower seeds at a good price to feed birds. They have a great selection of lightbulbs. Seeds for spring planting. Potting soil. It's a great place to refill your LPG tanks. The staff is friendly and helpful. You can order ahead and enjoy curbside pickup.

Dean, in the paint department, appeared unfamiliar with his product. In my opinion, he was argumentative, craven, rude and unhelpful. The rest of the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Prices are a bit high.

Start with the basics…easy on-line ordering and the product (12 bags of bark mulch) was actually in stock. Got help loading into car.
But…the SMS-based order status system seems to be driven by somebody who doesn’t really know what’s going on at the store. I got a text saying
“Aubuchon Hardware - 1 of 1 item(s) are ready for pickup in Littleton, MA. For easy curbside pickup, stay in your ? and tap https://hrdw.store/i/xxxh to check in online. Mon - Fri 7:30-7 pm Sat 7:30-6 pm Sun 9-5 pm”
So you would think that the store actually did something in preparation for my arrival. A different store where I ordered the same product mead the bags on a dolly waiting for me. Today’s store seemed to have no idea that I was coming even after the text above. The back gate (where the mulch bags are stored) was closed and the store back entrance was locked. I walked around to the front of the store and announced myself. The person up front recognized my name and knew about the order, and asked another employee to help me. He did a fine job from a standing stop, no different than if I had walked in off the street and ordered mulch.
So, as I started out saying, I got the product and help loading my car. It was just confusing to get SMS messages that are disconnected from reality.
