10AM - 10PM
320 Great Rd, Littleton“My new favorite go to store! The owner is awesome! They are the only place in the area that carries my bud select 55 low Cal beer for me and for such a small store they have a really big selection! The staff is really nice and just overall I've had nothing but good visits to this store. No grumpy employees or anything negative about it yet. I would highly recommend!”
“I am a stylist in a salon next to Red, White and Brew. This store is fantastic! They have a wide selection of beers, wines and liquors and the owners are very knowledgeable and friendly! Great customer service!!!”
10AM - 7:30PM
114 Main St #5B, Pepperell“I grew up around here and whenever we’re in town visiting family I make a point to stop by. They have such a great selection of New England beers and easy to make your own six pack.”
10AM - 8PM
8 Hudson Rd, Stow“I knew the former owner and the new ones. I have been in there since my father took me there as an infant and I am happy to say that while the place has changed over the years with improvements, I am still treated the same way I always have as a local. Larry found a great buyer in the Buschemi Brothers.”
“Love the General! So glad to have found it. Great food, fun place, indoor & outdoor seating & a perfect place to find a unique local item or gift. The service was good & it has a wonderful warm ambiance.”
9AM - 10PM
87 Great Rd, Acton“This spirits store in a small shopping area in Acton Massachusetts is a real gem. Tim is the manager and always cheerful. His staff is very knowledgeable. I usually go in for wines, and the ones they have are vast from all over the world. My latest purchase was from South Africa: a women-owned company called HER. Colonial had several varietals in that label. They also have an amazing assortment of beers. I know they have wine tastings, but I have never been to one. Their ad in our free weekly circular always has unusual wines. A very good & friendly/helpful place to expand your palate!”
“Nan’s is one of my favorite places of all time. The sandwiches are sublime.I’m going to talk about the barn burner sandwich. I’m a chili head and I’ve had the hottest chilis in the world including the mutant ones. I can eat normal 5 out of 5 spicy things without noticing. I noticed the barn burner. Normally people say ghost chili and they think about putting it in and that’s all they do. I’m looking at you Wendy’s and Trader Joe’s. Ghost pepper is one of the grossest peppers I’ve had the privilege of tasting and Nan’s expertise has made it taste lovely. On to the heat. I’m going to give it a 3/5 on my heat scale. One on the heat scale for me is 5 vindaloo at an Indian restaurant that knows me. 5 is super hots like ghost pepper/Carolina reaper. I cried and ended up in the heat plateau. It took about 5-10 minutes to get to full force as is common with these types of peppers. It was delicious and full of flavor. As I meditated on the mesa of schoville mountain I looked at the summit and decided this was a nice place to be. I really like this sandwich and I really hope that enough people join me here in the vortex of pain to keep it on the menu. There are very few places where I can get actually hot food. This is actually hot. Please Nan’s keep this on the menu or have some way of special ordering this if not. I’m going to send out the chili signal to the other crazy people so wet can come and feast upon this sandwich.I sneezed and my face is still burning delightfully. I love this.”
“The very best service at a liquor store anywhere! Not only do I love the friendly and helpful staff at Boston Road Market, but multiple guests of mine that have stopped in there, have commented on how helpful the owner is! True statement of quality service! Thank you!”
9AM - 9PM
1 Highland Commons W, Berlin“This is a wine and beer store which operates independently inside of BJ's Wholesale. They do not require a BJ's card to purchase. There are a number of very good deals on wines at this location as well as a wide variety from different regions. I particularly enjoy the four for $25 mix and match offers. It gives me an opportunity to try out wines I might not otherwise have picked and I've landed on a few very good ones as a result. It is not a large store but the selection is well thought out and the employees are very helpful. I would highly recommend them.”
“Great selection of wine, beer, and distilled. Fair prices... some even a bargain. All good, but the main reason it's my go-to place are the friendly and helpful folks running the place. Good people!”
9AM - 8PM
235 Main St, Groton“Groton market is the best local wine, spirits and beer shop in the area. We love shopping here! They’ve got a terrific selection and everyone who works here is so friendly and helpful. I’ve come in several times to buy ingredients for a new cocktail recipe and I’ve gotten great help on what to purchase. My dad loves shopping here too and always gets lots of great local craft beers!”
“Great place. The prices are better than other places in the area, and the selection is very good. The owner and staff are friendly, and generally quick as well, I never have to wait long.”
“This is a great place to buy any type of alcohol, be it wine, beer, spirits, etc. It's big with a good variety, and the prices are excellent. Always nice and clean with good music playing too, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's very conveniently located in Digital Crossing, and I love that it's right next door to Market Basket so I can head over after I do my shopping. My new favorite place!”
8AM - 9:30PM
2 Littleton Rd, Ayer“Freaking awesome staff, very knowledgable, variety is in their 4 walls, love the selection and visit them frequently. If you are not sure what you want! Ask them, they have a great selection!!!!!”
“For many years, I have shopped at Vintages, counting on them to always provide the best and unique wines from Europe. To say my wine knowledge has expanded from their deep selection and knowledge of the producers is a vast understatement. Regardless of your price range, they are clearly the best shop in this region, and dare I say, in any place I have been to in the US. Further, when I have a question about a grape, a vintner's process or inquire about some obscure wine I have read about, I am never let down by their desire to provide what they know and give the best experience to help me find what I am looking for. Bottom line, its a precious gem of a shop run by a wonderful person who cares about their clients.”
“I have never seen more different beer types in my life. I walked around for 10 minutes before I gave up and asked for what I was looking for. The reply was oh that entire wall right back there is exactly what you're looking for. And it was. There are certainly bigger stores out there but they just carry three times as much of the same stuff this place carries a million different things.”
11AM - 8PM
285 Ayer Rd, Harvard“Great small location. Due to rules and regulations in Harvard, they can only carry beer and wine. They have an amazing microbrew selection! Definitely go check this place out”
“The Shirley package store has got a wide variety of beer and liquors as well as snacks, sodas, water, ice cream, you name it. And the friendliest store clerks. Located next to the Bull Run, you can't go wrong with that dynamic duo on a Friday night on the town. ???”
“I shop here for two reasons. One bc they have an amazing selection of everything I could ask for. But second and most importantly, Moe and the rest of the family that work here are the nicest people I’ve ever met. Such incredible customer service. Cheers”
6AM - 9:30PM
275 Cox St, Hudson“This place has the best variety and options for beer, even better then most of the liquor stores around. They even have a bunch of crazy hot sauces that are fun to try! Every time I go in the people working are super friendly and helpful. The owners are awesome and really accommodating. If they don’t have something and you want it, they get it. Best little store in the area! I don’t live in Hudson but I always go here for everything they have.”
“Good place just before the Maynard and Acton line. Not far from the ARRT and it’s not far from the MBTA station and south Acton. Good selection and friendly staff. Love coming here when I get the chance”
“Outstanding selection of brews. Not only will you find what you're looking for, you might find something new.And when they don't have it? They'll order it for next time.”
“I have been a customer for few years now and I can’t be happier to recommend G&G! The owners are the sweetest customer oriented people! I usually find whatever I desire at a reasonable price. They went above and beyond finding my fav Italian imported wine and the price was on spot! The location is perfect, right off the highway. I Highly recommend G&G!”
“I bought two bottles of wine at the Stoneham farmers market. Coronet and Blush. I'm enjoying the Coronet right now and it is delicious. Next I want to try the Merrimac Red.”
“Best liquor store in the the area! They have eveything, and if you don't see what you need Mike the owner will gladly get it for you! Even non alcoholic wines and beer, just ask!?”
“Large selection of wines and beers. I would say if you want larger you need to go to Natick's Total Wine and More which has pretty much everything but for 99% of what you're likely looking for this store will have it. Good selection of microbrews, fair prices and helpful employees. This is our local go to spot.”
“Posh IceNine Acre has the best ice for drinks and cocktails. Hard, clear, square cubes. I have molds for large squares and cubes but this is the ice for cocktails or dinner. You can’t make or buy ice this good.”
“Great selection of small brewery beer, wine, and booze for such a small town. I wish there was a regular stock of gluten free beer. But also BLEAGH! Whoever thought it was ok to smoke cigarettes in the cooler because "you can't smell it in the store" was wrong.”
9AM - 11PM
48 Main St, Ayer“Great selection of craft beer from around the New England area and beyond. Best part is all of the beer is in a giant walk in fridge so you know it's been kept cold.”
“Convenient location next to Market Basket. They even carry my favorite Rombauer Merlot that I previously would have to go to New Hampshire to buy as I couldn't find anyone selling them in Mass. Ans yes, that wine is worth the $45 it costs. ???”
