“This is stunningly beautiful place for a natural setting wedding and it is near a pond too, so you can have pictures by the water. Heck, maybe you can arrive in style, being rowed in on a boat! For the budget bride who likes something a little different, this place is a find. You can submit a rental inquiry online now (thank goodness), and it includes a set price for the whole/half day, a dining/function hall 1400sq foot, hardwood floors, air conditionining, a fully equipped kitchen (for your caterer of choice), tables and seating (so you don't have to pay more for rental). I confess, I never got to visit this place since I ended up finding my wedding site at First Parish Church United in Westford, MA, but I obsessed about this place for a long time. The outdoor wedding, the wedding pictures on a lighted deck...you should definitely consider this place if you're very strict on budget (at the time it was $500 for the whole day) but still want to have a beautiful wedding for 100 people or less.”

“We attended a wedding at the barn. The venue was beautiful and clean. Staff were attentive, friendly, and kind. No detail was missed. The turnover of the room from the ceremony to reception was seamless and completed quickly, without the guests even knowing it was happening. The staff took the time to verify each guests order, as well as check allergies, and spoke to each person by name. Food was beautiful. My one comment would be the bathrooms. The stalls, at least the non-handicapped one, required a person to stand next to the toilet to get the door open; this was not very accessible. Overall beautiful venue.”

“First of all, this venue is BEAUTIFUL! Bill and Aspen have done a ton of work to create an amazing atmosphere here. It is clean, fresh, and aesthetically pleasing. The vibe screams adult Summer camp, but there is so much potential to be creative and/or classic. The biggest selling point for us was the ability for guests to lodge ON-SITE! This ensured a closeness among guests and nobody missed a second of the fun. There is a dining hall which was helpful to keep guests fed throughout the weekend. They have a rec-room complete with air hockey, foosball, boardgames, and a beer pong table. We were playing and hanging out all night long. And they have air conditioning in all the bedrooms! Which makes sleeping easy and allows guests to cool down when they need to.The outdoor spaces are lovely for lawn games, music, and relaxation. Plus, all the flowers and flora looked immaculate for the reception. They kept the fire-pit burning all night during the wedding reception and it was so lovely to step away for some fresh air.The bridal suite is magnificent. They have a full kitchen, fridge, living room, several furnished rooms, and a lovely deck. There is a full hair and makeup room with mirrors and swivel chairs. While the ladies got their hair and make-up done over rose, the fellas were able to sip scotch and tell bad jokes. The farm is extremely well maintained and Aspen is an excellent tour guide. The animals are ADORABLE and so friendly. The farmhands are helpful and will turn off the electric gates if asked. Plus, they have a whole ton of blueberries to pick, the bride even used some in the jam in the cake she baked! The food that Bill puts out is world class. All the staff including Seamus and Jenny are beyond professional. There was no shortage of drinks, and lines moved quickly. The apps were to die for and the dinner was delicious! After we cut the cake for the picture, they did an amazing job ensuring everybody got a full slice.Thank you to Bill, Aspen, and their family to welcome us with open arms. They truly made us feel like this space was our own, and were available to help and answer any questions as they came up.”

“My partner and I went here for a date night dinner recently after hearing about it from some friends. We made reservations and were promptly seated upon our arrival. Our server was knowledgable, attentive, and gracious during our meal, offering info on other dining options that they have throughout the year as well as a little background on the farm/bistro. The food was above expectations as my partner (of whom is from French origin), said it was the best meal he's had in MA. What an accolade! I too greatly enjoyed it and really tasted the freshness of each ingredient and the passion of the kitchen. Thanks again for a wonderful meal and atmosphere, we will definitely return!”

“The staff of the Club could not have been any nicer, and more helpful as we celebrated a family wedding. Being from Arizona it was reassuring to us that the club staff was easy to work with with no hassle.”

“Stopped here for a bite to eat for lunch. Specifically chose this place so we could have a beer and cocktails. Delicious food. Portions are quite small, so be prepared. We ordered a few to share. Great cocktails and beer!”

“Staff were amazing we were there for a baby shower. I started to explore the place because I didn't know anyone at the shower and I ended up meeting the really nice staff and patrons. They taught me how to gamble on the pull tabs, and I got to play some pool. It was a good night. Also hit on a scratchy”

“We went here for a wedding. It was our first time here.It was a nice place. A large pavillion area for us to hang out until the wedding party was done with photos. There is a bar set up there along with restrooms. There was a large grassy area nest to the pavillion to sit under the trees.Once inside, the reception hall was big. There were 19 tables set up for this occasion! There was enough room between tables to get by each of them as well an aisle to get to the dance floor! The dance floor was a bit small but it didn't stop everyone from dancing even when the floor was bouncing up and down! Phew. I stayed on the sidelines. LOL.The wedding ceremony took place down the hill from the reception hall. The mown grass field was huge and could have held about 2,000 folding chairs. The gazebo was a little rough but it fit in with the gun club theme. There was a pond behind that which was a nice background for the gazebo.I would recommend anyone check it out for wedding and events!”

“Very nice place. Rented their hall for my husbands 70th Birthday Party and it was great. Also I go to all of their neighborhood Block Parties that they have every year. They cookout and have great Bands at them. A lot of fun.”

“We booked Chateau Merrimack for a night during a road trip from the south back to Canada and what a treat! We were warmly welcomed and immediately charmed by the thoughtful decor, gorgeous wood trimmings and smell of the wood burning fireplace on the main floor. The rooms are very large, clean and delightfully decorated, and the bathrooms are extremely spacious, clean and stocked with lovely products that were a treat to use after we spent time at the wonderful pool and hot tub.The restaurant was closed for upgrades, but we ate in the bar and shared delicious Caesar salad, crispy fries and flavourful wings between three of us and were satisfied and stuffed. After dinner we were treated to a tour of the charming new restaurant space by the kind front desk attendant. The library/ lounge is beautiful and modern and we had a look at photos of the original hotel decor from the 80’s. What a transformation this hotel has undergone, it’s incredible! If this hotel was close by, for this price we would be booking a stay regularly. It sounds like they may be ironing out some kinks based on some other reviews, but given the incredible transformation this hotel had undergone, that makes sense. I hope people are patient and give them a chance. This a special stay and we really hope to return. We really wish we could have stayed longer and were able to use the pool and amenities more. This hotel would be perfect for a romantic or fun weekend away or staycation, and the price was right for both!Rooms: Huge, full of character and charm, clean and very comfy. The wood trim throughout is amazing. Kudos to their designer!Food & drinks: The Caesar salad was huge and full of flavour. Definitely try the sweet chili and toasted peanut wings.Noteworthy details: The pool and hot tub were clean, vibey and delightful.”

“I spent 1 night here in October 2023, and it was everything a hotel should be: clean, quiet, plenty of hot water (great water pressure) & with everything you need in your room. But there was one employee in particular, who put the hotel in the "unbeatable" category. At the front desk was Elana, a darling young woman who was seriously doing the work of 5 people, and doing it with a genuine smile on her face, and an amazing graciousness that I've never seen in a person so young. I truly felt privileged to have been able to cross her path, as just a few minutes with her made me feel that there is hope for this world. Maybe that sounds melodramatic, but it's true. I hope that the management at the Boxboro Regency is aware of the truly extraordinary person that Elana is, because she is a "keeper" and an amazing asset to the hotel. I wish the best for her.”
