I like Market basket they are my number 1 choice for food shopping but this store in particular drops the ball. Compared to other locations they seem to not have as good as a selection and you really need to check the date on the food your buying here.

I appreciate shopping during the day when the cashiers and baggers are not YOUNG people. The Olders have GOOD customer service and show respect to customers.

Expired products on shelves constantly. Dairy, grocery, all departments. They don't pay attention to dates. Once they stocked an entire shelf of orange juice which had expired 2 weeks before. Grocery selection is inconsistent. Severely under trained employees from all departments including cashier and bagging. Managers spend more time talking to each other and looking at their phones than they do managing.

We love our local Market Basket, always have! Great selections, produce, and always seem to find someone who can help. I cannot say enough good things about the Bakery and Deli/Kitchen sections. We had our kid's birthday party catering from the kitchen--just simple trays of sandwiches and wraps and we got so many compliments. Can't beat the price and service is excellent!

I really don't think I can say any more positive things about Market Basket other than what has already been said. What I will add though is, this grocery store chain is personaly my favorite grocery store to do all of our food purchases.
Once again, happy hunting for the very, very hard to get deals that are almost impossible to find.

Supermarkets should aspire to be this. Everything about this place is perfect: the prices, the choices, the cleanliness, and the quality of the cuisine. At a reasonable price, you can get tasty cooked foods and takeout options as well. I have always had a pleasant experience because every member of the staff is professional and willing to help.

The kitchen is so incredibly inconsistent with breakfast. So many mornings I come in at 730-800 am and the tray is empty. And if I ask for a sandwich I get an attitude.. once or twice a week that tray is full with EVERYTHING. whoever that employee is goes above and beyond. The two fossils working the rest of the week are awful.

I had come here 08/13/25 @3:30pm after a long day of work and had 5 extra items in the 20 or less check out. When I got to the checkout, I had said good afternoon to Barbara S in quick lane 16. She avoided me and proceeded to scan my items. After she scans my items she forcefully says to “be mindful of the 20 items or less” and then when I did not respond, she went “did you hear me?” I am not a child and am not her child for her to speak to me in any kind of way. As she chose market basket as her place of employment. I hope moving forward she can be mindful of how she speaks to her customers, and be mindful of who she is speaking to. As they may come on here and write a review for the people who are afraid to. It was 5 extra items. I cannot believe the workers have problems with scanning items when it is their JOB.

I have a complaint. Message to Tim Norton. Bridge St store 002.Please train the baggers to not put heave items on top of things that can be crushed. The bagger ( don't know his name ) he is not new. We try not to go to him but today we did. He approaches his job like he does not want to be there. The cashier was Jescar and she was excellent but the bagger was not. Please someone talk to this guy. A big kid dark hair. Ps I love MB the only place we shop.

This is what a supermarket should strive to be. The prices are great, the quality of food is great, the store is clean and has a huge selection. The prepared food and takeout counters are also delicious for a great price. Every staff member is professional and helpful, I have always had a good visit.
