Merrimack Repertory Theatre, established in 1979, is a key cultural organization in Lowell and the Merrimack Valley. It offers a seven-show season from September to May, showcasing new plays in a cozy 279-seat theatre, the Nancy L. Donahue Theatre in Liberty Hall. The theatre provides very good views from all seats and free parking next door. Visitors can relax at the bar before shows and during intermission. The theatre is known for its engaging and humorous productions, such as a hilarious Shakespeare-inspired play performed by just three actors, and high-quality performances like "Christmas Carol." The venue is friendly and accessible, with helpful staff and accommodations for guests using wheelchairs. Ticket prices are considered a bit high by some, but many have enjoyed consistent, quality performances over the years. Overall, Merrimack Repertory Theatre is a vibrant, community-focused theatre that offers enjoyable, well-produced shows close to home.

We went to see The Comedy of Hamlet! (a prequel) last week with some friends and we all enjoyed it. We've seen a few plays at MRT and have yet to be disappointed.

Great place to see a live performance. Really not a bad seat in the house.
