Mill City Grows works towards creating a food just community where residents are engaged in growing, consuming, and distributing healthy, locally produced food on protected land. Through citywide partnerships, we: - Create and manage Community Gardens where residents grow their own food - Create Urban Farms where we grow thousands of pounds of food that's distributed throughout Lowell - Partner with Lowell Public Schools to install gardens and provide nutrition education through our School Garden Program - Train gardeners in urban agriculture and community leadership through our Educational Programs - Bring local food directly to neighborhoods via our Mobile Market and CSA/Veggie Box programs
Mill City grows is an important organization in the Lowell community. We are so lucky to have them advocating for us through food programs, community gardening and other contributions.
