Staff is super helpful and friendly. The maintenance man saw me carting my toddler back and forth to the lobby to heat food and he brought me a microwave. I wish there was breakfast included, the menu is limited at the coffee shop and the restaurant seemed closed. Note: nothing much within walking distance so my two year old and I had to play on the grounds to kill time while my husband was at work.

The location was its saving grace. It smelled like a nursing home. No frills, old and tired.

This place is very niceThe room are normal size n the bed is comfortable . The place is clean, which is the number one thing I'm always on too of. It's very quiet n a little eerie but it fine. There's a little store in the lobby next to the desk. It has a nice selection n there is a 99 a little down the road

I stayed 11/04-11/07 . Let’s first say that the pictures are very deceptive! I chose this hotel based on pictures and reviews (which are now tanking). The hotel is very much under construction, the tub had rust, when we asked for more towels the attendant handed us visibly dirty towels. You must pay for breakfast (which I knew) BUT you also must pay $5/day for parking (which we DID NOT know) until I saw a charge on my card after our stay. Save your money and book elsewhere.

Absolutely terrible. Hotel should be embarrassed. My wife stayed here on 10/14-10/15. The following problems occurred during her stay:- Thermostat malfunctioned so only heat would blast. Had to open the window to cool the room- TV would not turn off- Went down to tell the front desk. Said someone would come by. Nobody ever did- Next morning, there was no water. Couldn't flush toilet or take a shower.- Front desk said there is no maintenance on the weekend so nobody would have stopped by to address the heat or TV. So they liedRooms: Basic things about the room did not work.

My experience was terrible. I chose the hotel because it was listed on the Baystate marathon website, and I was just staying one night during the marathon weekend in mid-October. Mistake!1) The receptionist was surly when I questioned the extra $100 that had been charged to my card on check-in (she said it was a security deposit that I would "probably" get it back a few days after check-out).2) The hotel itself was undergoing renovations of some sort, so half of the lobby area was hidden behind a big sheet of plastic. The decor was dark and dusty-feeling. Nothing like what the website shows.3) Once in my room, I couldn't sleep because anytime the people in the room above me moved around, the ceiling creaked as if it were going to fall. This woke me up every hour.4) When I finally gave up on sleeping and got up at 4 am on Sunday to get ready, there was NO WATER. This was not the hotel's fault--the water main had been shut off due to a fire hydrant accident, but the only fix they offered (after I insisted I needed water) was either an 8-oz bottle for free, or a larger bottle that I could BUY from a vending machine. Unbelievable. Luckily I had taken a shower the night before. When I checked out at 6 am, I thought perhaps some kind of discount for the lack of water might be offered, but no dice. This hotel should be avoided.Edited on October 17, 2023:After reading the owner's response, I admit I must have been mistaken about the vending machine. Perhaps it was just a refrigeration unit with a glass door in the reception area. In any event, I was told I could PURCHASE a larger bottle if I wanted. As for the owner's question about what more could have been done: Immediately after the water was shut off, someone should have gone out to buy numerous cases of water. These could have been left on each floor so guests getting ready for a MARATHON didn't have to scrounge for water.

I stayed at this hotel from 11/9/23-11/13/23. It was comically bad.The first thing I noticed (having arrived in the evening) was the heating/cooling. Those were your choices. The heater didn't stop heating the room unless you physically turned it off, and then, being in the 30s at night, the room was freezing. The bed was fine, but there was apparently no mattress pad so you felt all the little quilted squares from the top of the mattress. Also, there was a thin spread, lightweight blanket, and sheet, as well as one thin blanket in the wardrobe. If you opted for turning off the heater so you didn't bake, those "bedcovers" did nothing and you froze all night. I actually resorted to piling pillows on top of myself in an attempt to keep warm.My first morning I found that the 16oz paper coffee cups did not fit in the coffee maker provided. Just to have a cup of coffee I had to smash and fold the edges of the cup in order to get it to fit. As there was never any housekeeping service in my room I had to go looking for more coffee. A housekeeper gave me a few packets of decaf, but I was told there was no more regular coffee for the rooms, but I could buy some downstairs. Medium was $5.My third night there was horrible. There was so much noise coming from some other guest(s) that I couldn't sleep. Two and a half hours of banging, stomping, door slamming. I called the front desk and the person who answered asked me where it was coming from. I explained where I was, but he wanted to know where the noise was, and that he can't do anything if he can't find it. Sorry I don't have a map of all the rooms and guests...isn't that your job? No, nothing was ever done about it. I got to sleep when it finally stopped around 4:00am.As for the staff I personally encountered, one front desk worker I spoke to on my last morning was pleasant, but the rest were not. I know New England has a reputation for brusqueness, but most were downright rude and dismissive, making it clear that I was not a guest, but an interruption to their day.As I checked out I asked for an itemized statement of my bill, which was emailed later in the day (I was told they don't normally offer them). There were four $5 charges for daily parking. No one asked if I had a car (I did not), and that the charges were automatic whether you have a car or not. Thankfully when I called to challenge the charges they were immediately removed.I would love to rate this hotel zero stars, but Google doesn't allow that. Therefore I dedicate the one star to the older gentleman who sold the breakfasts in the lobby, as the restaurant was under renovations (no complaints about that, they happen). This gentleman was warm, kind, and helpful. I would not mind encountering him again.I chose this hotel because it was close to where I was visiting, but next time I will stay further away just to avoid this place. It looked nice on the surface, but needs a LOT of work to bring it up to par.

Hotel was overpriced, under construction, and dirty. We paid almost $300 a night for a hotel that I would consider to be a $100 per night value. There was no breakfast included, the floors in all the hallways were dirty and our bedding was disgusting. Instead of a duvet cover, there is a white sheet, a white duvet, and a white coverlet. I’m not sure how they think these other pieces are going to protect the duvet, which was yellow and stained. I don’t even want to imagine what was on there. Absolutely disgusting. Bring your own bedding if this is your only hotel option. $5 per night parking fee for a hotel that was in an industrial area that didn’t have a high demand for parking. Ridiculous.

The pictures of the property shown are very deceptive. A large portion of the lobby is under a tarp. I had multiple issues with my room that wouldn't be addressed when asked. Also, the water was shut off. The staff wasn't apologetic and offered 1 8 oz bottle of water.

I checked in late last night and pulled the blankets down and sat in the bed and it had a smell. I was about to lay my baby down next to me and realized the bed was wet and it smelled like urine and it in fact was and wet through the mattress cover (in a “clean” room). The front desk was responsive and immediately found a new room.

Dirty hotel. No dress code for the staff. No towel service. No cleaning service on weekend? Forced to stay there for a hockey tournament, so wouldn't recommend and obviously won't be back. Also, don't be fooled by the pictures uploaded by the business owner. Pool and lobby looked like a bomb hit it. See attached. Also, since there was no lobby and outside patio, a small group of us found a conference room to hang out in. Cleaned up after we were done but the next day the door was literally chained with a dead bolt. Maybe if the pics you posted were genuine, we coulda chilled at the pool/patio.
