Southwick dining is overrated. Fox hall dining for life. Fox hall on east makes southwick look like a fool. Fox hall has the best chicken patties on this side of the Merrimack. Southwick has burritos that you get sick of. They have noodle bowls that aren't bad but nothing compared to FH dining #goriverhawks

They built a new elevator but it is super slow and loud. Still not inspected. The newly built bathrooms on the 4th floor are always disgusting and somehow already have paint peeling off the walls.

If you are looking for a break from the typical campus dining hall food, you will be sorely disappointed. The four shops sell Sandwiches, Mexican food, Pizza, and burgers. Each of them are equally bland. The pizza was clearly frozen just before it was served. The burgers are small and tasteless. The sandwiches are poorly made. The best place to go would be the Mexican place. This spot would have gotten 4 stars from me if it used a meal swipe. Instead, you have to pay money for this overpriced garbage. The only reason it is getting two stars and not one is for the F'real milkshake machine. That would be the only reason to come to Southwick. Otherwise, save your money and eat at Fox or on South.

This is one of UML's food courts where visitors can pay by cash, credit, or students can use "points" on their meal plans. The Southwick Food court on the first (basement) floor of Southwick Hall, offers a make-your-own Salad Bar which is charged by the ounce, specialty grilled sandwiches and burritos to order, daily soups, and fast foods like pizza by the slice, chicken tenders, burgers, breadsticks and fries. Fountain drinks, fruit smoothies, coffee and bottled specialty drinks are all available as well as grab and go snacks and sweets. I usually go for the salad bar because it has a good variety of greens and toppings. There are two large dining rooms with seating so you can stay and eat if you don't mind college students or you need to plug in and work at a table (thought outlets are limited.) This is also a popular spot with faculty members as well since it's convenient to their many offices nearby. Hours are generally until 7pm on weekdays, however the best food selection is usually during lunch between 11am- 3pm daily.
