I recently sought assistance with a refund and was helped by a young male Employee. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Despite my efforts to explain the situation clearly, it became apparent that the Employee lacked the knowledge or ability to process the refund efficiently. I understand that certain processes can be complex, but I expected a higher level of competence and support in resolving a straightforward issue. Knowing I had my digital receipt in hand.
I hope management can provide additional training to ensure future interactions are more productive and customer-pleased. I appreciate the other employee whom actually was able to help me with my refund all thought it had to be completed on drive up not in store.

This store security is trash. How they handle situation without proper assessment is beyond me. Today I went in there to purchase several baby items which cost me over $200 and innocently forgot to scan one item which was a baby chair and security guy stop me. He asked me to follow him into the security office not telling what the situation was and I had no clue what was the problem.
As I sat there in silence, I handed them my ID when they asked for it and the woman whom I assume is security supervisor pulled out a camera put closely to my face then took my picture without forewarning. Then they told me I am band from coming into the store for a year because of thefts. I was shock not knowing I was being blame for theft.
I have the fund to pay for all my item and even when I ask to pay for what I forgot to scan they said no and now they put a trespass on me for something that was a mistake. These security people need to be properly trained and learn how to fully assess the situation better. Never in my life I got treated this way by a security guard. I am embarrassed and in disbelieve by their actions. When I told them I completely forgot to scan the baby chair, they insisted I intentionally try to steal.
It’s one thing when theft is planned out, have the intention and act on it. I totally forgot to scan one thing and paid for all the others item well over $200 and why wouldn’t I not able to pay for the forgotten item? Especially when I told them I can pay for it right there and then.
My suggestion, do better at evaluating the situation and assessment of people as well as communication instead of formulating and coming to a conclusion.
Regardless of the banding or not at this point, I will never shop at Target on Plain St. Lowell ever again. I will pass on my incident to all my peers and family so that they will not shop there. People who know me know I am an honest person and would never do such foolish things.

My mobile order to Woburn was redirected to Lowell and now that I'm here they're making me run around the store to find my own product

This store is always in disarray and short staffed. I avoid it as much as possible, and the same goes for Walmart. Amazon is going to put them out of business eventually. because these box stores have no integrity anymore. Let’s face it, if shoppers are going into the store then they expect to have a pleasant experience. I used to work in retail customer service for a very long time and I remember very well the threat of being unemployed if I didn’t perform my job well. What happened to those days?

What a mess. Inside and out. Even in the early morning before opening. It's not even the fault of the employees...it's the shoppers. Can't you clean up after yourselves???

Awful experience. They’re limiting their self checkout to “10 items or less” during the busiest time of year. I could ring myself out faster for my 11 items that the woman made me go stand in line at a register to ring. Always insanity and absolutely trashed in every aisle.

This year has to be the worst ever target I've been to...

The worst place on earth. Outrageously priced chachkies. The most pathetic employees who couldn’t be bothered to get off their phone or find the 2 ipads they have in stock out back. We went at 8pm one night and left our cart in the middle of the front aisle when we saw the outrageously long line piled up for one cashier (because they close down self checkout at night to minimize theft instead of actually stopping people who rob). We went back the next morning at 10-11am and our cart and all our items were in the same place! What a pathetic waste hole. I hope this location and all targets close soon

A year ago this target was one of my favorite ones to go to in the area because it was nearby, well stocked, and clean but over the last year it has met none of those. Frequently only one register is open with the self check out fully open (if it’s after 10:30), and although it says 10 items or less and an employee watches it there are so many times I’ve been in a long line watching people with more than 10 items or even a full cart checking out there and not a peep from the employees. Lately I’ve been running into issues with open food products, and today I wanted to do a return and not have to go back to the store because I’m tired of it being a mess, and wasting gas for a product that was open when it shouldn’t have been and left on a shelf, apparently you can’t do it online and they will only give you a gift card, but I do not wish to return to this store or this company again as I’m tired of the price gouging and the excessively gross stores and employees who don’t care to do the bare minimum.
And don’t get me started on the employees on their phones, not the zebra, in the isles with a go back cart. And yes, the cart is sitting there while they tap, type, or scroll. I’ve even stood there starting at a young man doing it for a minute before he noticed. Management doesn’t care and you see how it trickled down to employees and the state of the store.
If you need space for mobility reasons, don’t go in the morning either. That’s when they stock and they will block isles with the trolley carts so you can’t shop.

I am a frequent customer at target and have had mostly positive experiences at this store. However, today my family and I were checking out and the cashier was being unnecessarily rude to us. He kept insisting that we need to make sure we put the cart back and said this to us multiple times before we had even checked out. It was embarrassing as there were other customers around. After we checked out he gestured again with his hand to us to return the cart. It doesn’t make any sense why he would keep saying this to us and came off very rude.
