They are unable and unwilling to Verify a cashiers check made from their facility. Even the same day issued: unfortunately the tellers and the branch manager Maria were the worst people I have encountered . I’ve never felt so disrespected in my life . They refused to cash a cashiers check drawn from their branch if I am not a customer. After dealing with these two gems, I am not sure how they have any customers. When I spoke to another manager Shawn , he co-signed everything Maria stated. So moral of the story. If you have cashiers check drawn from their bank even on the same day, they do not know how to verify the check ( Maria signed it) . They are such a small bank they refuse to take the extra steps or even common courtesy to any patron, whether you have an account here or not. If you want to feel miserable then please go here. They will treat you like a panhandler with no shoes on. I am not sure how this place is still open.

Horrible bank all around with the worst customer service I've ever encountered. If you need to call for any issue at all, good luck. I always seem to get the same woman and she is unbelievably rude and will talk over you and just continue to get louder until you let her speak.They seriously need to teach their staff some customer etiquette. I mean this is common sense. Something they clearly lack.Don't get me started on my debit card CONSTANTLY being blocked. You know how frustrating it is being denied when trying to pay for something knowing you have plenty of money to cover it?Bottom line, just stay away.

I was in today to deposit a check. The man who helped me never said a word, just waved me over. When he was done, he put the slip on the desk and continued working. I asked "Am I all set?" He said yes and barely whispered a "have a nice day." That's rude in my opinion. Was I bothering him by depositing a check?? I never even signed it....

Customer for 5+ years; went to deposit a large check from our mortgage refinance. At first they told me they had to hold the check for 5 days. I, of course agreed, then they told me they're weren't going to cash the check unless my wife also came in with an ID; turning me away with a very large check. This was the final straw in a long line of poor customer service, many technical glitches, and poor travel service. People expecting a high level of customer advocacy, quality service, and quality online banking BEWARE!

I just got off the phone with a person that worked here i wish i caught her name but she was very rude very uninterested in helping me and kept interrupting me while i’m trying to explain an issue that i’m having. smh this was a good bank but been having issues with them not cool !

If you care about timely mobile deposits for your business or online banking, look literally anywhere else. Every couple of weeks, their website just decides to boot your devices out and not let you break back into your own account without contacting them by phone during their business hours (when you’re using the correct information/password). Their advice is usually “delete the cookies” like it’s 1997 and when you do, still nothing works and they have to reset your account manually. This bank has a long way to go to match any other competitors in the 21st century. Been meaning to for a long time and just didn’t want to deal with the hassle, but canceling this account asap

I just recently lost my ATM card and I went into the Washington Savings in Lowell. They were quick and efficient with the most friendly staff. Every time I walk in I am Treated very well and will always use them for banking. Thank you again for the A1 service.

Unbelievable business practices. Returned a payment I made to my credit card, charged two fees. So now my 25 dollar minimum payment to capital one has just cost me about $100.00. Not to mention it was all over 8 dollars.

I am a new member to WSB and have been so impressed and happy with their services and knowledgeable staff. I recently secured a mortgage and opened up a new checking account with bill pay options. Alan Rosen, Melanie Hire, Cathy Koumpouras, Giovanna DeLaCruz and Maria Silva have all gone above and beyond to make the process smooth and easy for my family and me. Their approach is personal and warm. They have taken the time to build relationships with us all and always welcome us with open arms with our many questions and needs. I could not be more pleased with my experience at WSB a d am thrilled that I finally found a bank that doesn't see me only as an account number :)

We use Washington Savings Bank even though we live in South Florida. The entire bank is incredible. You cannot beat the personal service a small bank has to offer, yet everything is modernized to allow banking from anywhere. Mobile ap, Touch ID, Mobile Deposits, Card Control, you name it. The amount I get back in rewards every month exceeds any monthly fee, so I basically get the best customer service for a profit. If you want a bank where they truly know each and every individual customer, this is the bank for you. We refuse to open a local bank and will forever use WSB. They've beyond earned it. I wish I could give them 500 stars.
