Do not use pods, they are the absolute worst and have terrible customer service. When setting up the delivery, I put specific instruction on where and which direction I wanted the pod. On delivery day, my window kept jettujg pushed futher and further back. I called multiple times in the evening to see if it was still on the way and each time they told me my pod was the next delivery and was en route. The final time I called was 7:45pm and they said the driver would be there in 15 minutes. 5 minutes later I got an email saying my delivery day was changed to the next day. I called and they offered me a half refund of the delivery charge. The next day the driver showed up first thing in the morning with the pod without notification and the pod was facing the wrong way. He said they change the direction because they felt it would be better but this change would have blocked my whole driveway.the driver was nice and said he would come back with a different one after he brought that one somewhere else. He did bring a new one and faced it the way we asked but if i was not there (as I was supposed to be at work for delivery) it would have blocked my driveway preventing us from fitting both cars and would have been facing the wrong way.
I ended up calling them after not getting the partial refund and they said it was closed because I never responded to an email that I did respond to. I asked for it to be refunded to me. They then added it as a credit instead and said they couldn't refund it. I was okay with that because I knew there was a pickup charge. On the day of pickup, they chaeged me the full amount and didn't take from the credit. I called and they said it was due to the system processing the pickup charge early which made no sense. They said they would put in a ticket to have a refund sent. The next day (day after pickup) I was charged for another month. The charge closed my other ticket and they said the system is setup for automatic charges. They put a new ticket in for a refund. After 3 days they never processed a refund and instead gave me a credit. I called and said I was supposed to get a refund for the full 243 dollars and they said they could not process refunds through PayPal for some reason and that I would need to wait 7-14 business days for a paper check even though 4 other times I called about the issues I was told I would get a refund to my PayPal. Do not use them. Pods is horrible to work with.

Great job! I had wonderful service, very simple to load and transport and deliver, all without a single worry. Drivers were personable and smiling!!!

Will tell you one thing on the phone, and do the exact opposite. Good luck getting someone who’s speaks English to assist you in finding your things or holding up their end of the bargain. RUN AWAY
Update: their social media team reached out to “investigate.” It’s been 6 days and zero response other than a boiler plate email that says they’re still investigating. This should be straight forward as their phone conversations are recorded. This could be resolved in 20 minutes but of course then they’d have to admit they were wrong. I expect nothing at this point and will be surprised if my pod even shows up.

Would really recommend looking into a different moving and storage company for your needs. PODs was an extremely difficult company to coordinate with for our long distance move. Each customer service representative provided a different set of information, leaving us confused about when our POD would be delivered, moved, redelivered. We also had an incredibly disheartening experience with one of the delivery drivers, who I will not name as a courtesy, who screamed at us in our driveway at our new home and drove off without explaining to us what the issue with our driveway was. PODs declined to fully refund us for our services.

I will not be reaching out to your social media account or your company otherwise again -- you showed us that you don't care about our insights or our experience in how you processed our complaints at the time of service.

I recently had to retrieve my POD to add additional items, after completion the door was closed, I was a little distracted and placed the lock and tag on the unit. The next morning I got to thinking that I locked the unit in the open position (not sliding the latch over) after panicking, I went to the facility first thing Monday morning. I was greeted by Cessia, who remembered me and went to check on the POD, it was unlocked as I suspected, she took my key and locked the unit for me. I was very impressed how Cessia at the Ludlow MA facility handled the situation and am very grateful to her for her assistance and calming demeanor.

Keith F delivered my POD today. It was shipped FL and held in Ludlow until to today. I couldn't get the door open. Keith was finally able to get the door open. What we found was the items shifted because the guys that loaded the pod did not secure it properly. My curio cabinet which has wood and glass was tipped forward and it looked like it crunched my tv. Keith was so wonderful. He was able to right the curio cabinet to a standing position. As far as I can tell it didnt break. He was so kind and very helpful. I can't thank him enough. He does such a great job.

Pods driver drove off hooked into my electrical wire and pulled out off. Left me and my tenant without electricity. This is the aftermath of it being fixed. The driver did not come back when I texted him of his damage. He just drove off. Pods did not fix the damage either and they were aware

Don’t use pods, first and last time going with them. Paid for a moving company to load the pod. The pod never showed up or called to let me know they were coming until I called to question them. I Lost $400 on movers along with taking the day off of work for nothing since pod never showed up. Lied to by the rep stating I would get reimbursed which I got $94 out of$400 which seems unfair. Only reason I agreed to the 2nd pod because the rep said I’d receive money off from them not showing. Called multiple times on pick up and drop offs since nobody could properly schedule the dates during pick up of full cart only one was picked up and buyers now have a pod in the driveway. Stay away from this company. It’s a huge rip off with horrible customer service.

Delivery and pick up was fine; they changed their billing system and our credit card didn't port so that was a big pain when we finally got a very large bill in the mail. Rodent damage in our pod! So many items chewed and feces everywhere. We stored our POD with them for 8 years only to open it to feces and chewing damage on our household items. NO food or food items were stored in there. Not happy about that but delivery and pickup were smooth and convenient so we really liked that aspect.

I had two excellent delivery drivers, drop off empty containers, pick up drivers and then drop off at my new home. They were very friendly and we discussed where to put the containers. They called me to tell me they were on their way. Excellent customer service.
