About Lynn Woods Reservation
Lynn Woods Reservation is a large, 2,200-acre municipal forest park in Lynn, Massachusetts. Managed by the City of Lynn's Department of Public Works, Park Commission, and Water & Sewer Commission, it offers a variety of trails through woods, rocky hills, swamps, and areas affected by recent forest fires. Visitors enjoy hiking, walking, and exploring features like the Stone Tower, Dungeon Rock, and a steel tower, with great views of Boston and beautiful fall foliage. The park is family and dog friendly, making it a popular spot for outdoor activities. Some visitors have reported hearing growls while walking, so caution is advised. The park is known for its friendly community and interesting sites, with opportunities to see remnants of past fires and meet animals like horses. Although the playground is under construction, Lynn Woods Reservation remains a favorite place to get outdoors, enjoy nature, and spend a day exploring.

Beautiful and extensive trails with so much history. I have started noticing a bit more litter near the entrances, I hope people can be more mindful and we can keep this beautiful piece of nature clean!
