I cannot recommend Armando and his crew more. They worked for two weeks at our property redoing our front and side walkways and steps as well as our back patio and steps. Everything came out beautifully and exceeded my expectations. Armando has always been responsive and easy to communicate with. We also used them to repoint our chimney and fix a leak in our foundation, both of those jobs were also done to perfection. They always left the job site extremely clean and showed up on time each day, lastly, his prices are more than fair. They are worth every penny!!

Armando and his crew repaired/rebuilt a large set of brick stairs, and repaired another smaller set of stairs for me. Armando was great to work with, he was willing to work with me on the idea of repairing vs a full replacement which I really appreciated. He and his crew were professional and kept the work area clean and taped off for safety during the work. Both projects came out great. I highly recommend North Star Masonry!

Highly recommended. Armando and his crew did extensive repair work on our brick front stairs and flagstone walkway. Their work was meticulous, their pricing reasonable and they thoroughly cleaned the worksite after they were done. Highly professional and very nice guys.

Absolutely phenomenal. We hired North Star to expand our existing patio. They went above and beyond and delivered a fabulous end result. Not only did they pull up and re-grade our existing patio, they seamlessly blended the new stones (slightly different color) with the old ones.
On top of that, they even re-trenched our downspout and cleaned up some shoddy pre-existing concrete work around the patio area.
Armando and his team were on-time, courteous and extremely professional. They also stuck to their (reasonable) quote for the entire project.
SO happy with how it turned out.

North Star Masonry rebuilt the front entry and side entrance steps to my house. They did a great job! Armando and his crew showed up when he said they would and completed the job in the time frame he gave me. The crew worked diligently and respectfully cleaned up the work site every day before leaving. I am impressed with their craftsmanship and quality of work. The curb appeal of my house went up exponentially. I would use them again for future projects. I strongly recommend them.

North Star Masonry by far was the Best. They turned our broken flag stone walkway into a show piece. Armando and his crew were excellent. I would recommend this company to anyone who wants good pricing, hard workers and a Fabulous job. Armando and his crew did a great job on our chimney and garage apron repair. I was contacted promptly after submitting a request. Armando came soon after and provided an estimate that was clear and fair. The work was completed as scheduled. The team very carefully checked every inch of the chimney and made repairs as needed. The garage apron was repaired to look like new. The paving company that replaced our driveway shortly after the garage apron repairs was so impressed by the professionalism of the work that they asked for the contact information for our masonry company so they could recommend them to their clients.I would highly recommend North Star Masonry.

Armando and his crew delivered a beautiful product for our home. He constructed a 3' H x 28' L stone wall to replace a chain link fence that was past its prime. We worked with him to find someone to put a wrought iron fence on top of the wall. Armando was on site each day they worked. They finished each day by cleaning the area (the sidewalk belongs to the city, and we get a lot of traffic along it), and keeping their equipment neat and tidy (you can see this in the pictures). They replace a cement step with beautiful stonework, and we are more than pleased with the work. The cost was absolutely worth having it done right, and done with such professionalism and craft. Our neighbors kept telling us how they admired the crew as they worked, choosing each stone carefully and making sure the wall was aesthetically pleasing as well as safe and strong. We have been receiving continual compliments from people who walk by and admire the wall and fence. Armando and his team not only met our expectations, but exceeded them! We highly recommend this great team of professionals.

Armando came to my house on 6/12 to look at my property and assess the area. We discussed the patio and stairs I wanted to install. He took measurements, was very friendly and gave me a timeline that he could potentially begin in 2 weeks. Great. I was happy to hear this. He said he would provide a catalog and quote right away. A couple days went by and I didn't hear anything, so I reached out via text to check in, never heard back. I waited another day and reached out by phone and left a message. Never heard back. Waited a couple more days and called again (thinking maybe he's really busy). Still nothing. Last resort, I thought maybe he lost his phone or something, so I message through the company's Facebook page, they read the message 2 days ago and NEVER responded. Very unprofessional. A quick communication letting me know they cannot do the job or whatever the reason may be would have been appreciated. Not sure what happened, but either way this is not how you treat your customers. Very unprofessional!

Armando and crew just completed rebuilding my front steps and last summer they rebuild the Stone Wall in the front of the house. What a great job both time! I appreciate him and his crew hard work. If you ever need Masonry work done, I highly recommend these guys. I will always use them first for any masonry work I need done. Terrific Job guys. Thanks

Armando and crew just completed rebuilding my slate front steps and turned a real eyesore into an attractive feature. They were loose, broken, and crumbling, not to mention dangerous. What a great job! They took the old steps completely apart and rebuilt them entirely using what could be salvaged and replacing only that which couldn't be reused. Other contractors would have needlessly used all new materials which would have cost me big bucks. This saved me a bunch of $ which I greatly appreciate. A hard working crew and pleasant to have around.I'll always call them first for any masonry work I need done, and would highly recommend anyone else do the same.
