“Been following for years online and was finally able to come in person. This store was so small but had SO much to look through! Ended up spending a ton but I truly love all the pieces I got. Sure, the costs were a little higher than I normally pay, but I was glad to be able to try on everything in store as so few places that sell this type of retro clothing are in person. I'm sure I'll be back or at least online!”
“Best consignment shop I've ever visited! As a plus size woman (size 18, XL, XXL, or 1X), it's usually pretty difficult to find cute clothes second hand. On my first visit to this shop, I bought 5 beautiful, unique, well priced items. The clothing is organized very well by size, so it's easy to find what you're looking for. So impressed! Will be coming back ?”
“This place is truly the best. Their staff is so kind and attentive, always offering to start a dressing room while you continue to browse. Their consignor relationships are better than anywhere else I've consigned in this area and I have had great success with having my consigned items sell quickly and at good prices. The store itself is always clean and welcoming, with seating areas near the dressing rooms. Worthy Girl truly sets the bar for consignment boutiques and now I have a hard time shopping anywhere else!”
“After a weird experience at the Newbury location, I was hesitant to come here, but was pleasantly surprised at how friendly the employees were! The store itself is neatly organized by category and you can find well-priced pieces from a variety of brands, from more affordable ones to high-end designers. There are fitting rooms to try things on, as well as fun accessories and jewelry. I ended up buying a pair of Levi's shorts, and would definitely come back!”
“I can not say enough good things about this shop. It’s homey feel and awesome unique products speak for themselves. Stopped by and had the honor of meeting the lovely human behind Shindig! So excited to see her and the shop again on our next visit to Salem!”
“I had such a wonderful experience with the owner of the shop. She’s absolutely incredible. I first found her on TikTok and I followed her. She was so friendly and made it very easy to shop. I chose a wonderful bag that I’m very happy and excited to receive I definitely recommend 10 out of 10.”

Used Vintage And Consignment
“I have a bunch of vintage G.I Joe action figures. They're unopened. I'm wondering if they also buy collectible toys as well. I'd love to get an offer for them since I have no use for them and they're just sitting in my closet. Here's just one of the figures I have. Something you'd buy?”
“Picked up a gorgeous dress from Sistas for my company’s holiday party last year and a couple of other items. There are a lot of gems you can find here. I also just feel great about shopping here because 1) it’s sustainable and 2) the items are from quality brands and in great condition. I will definitely be back to shop more this season!”
“Every time we come to Boston, we make sure to stop by the absolute best store in town, Rick Walkers on Newberry Street. The moment you open the door, your senses are awakened by the rich smell of leather. And, that is just a tease. When you talk to Rick, you feel right as rain. He welcomes you and gives you the good ol' feeling like you've known him for decades. It sure is a good time!”
“Third time I'm and all three times have been 5 star reviews. Went during a sale and so many great things! Even when it's not a sale, it's just so cool to know the money is going towards a small business and other parents. I've also sold to them and it was such an easy process, definitely recommend signing up for email alerts!”
“Castanet is one of my favorite shops. Half of my closet comes from here and I always find something special every time I go. Plus Cassie and her team are amazing!”
“Good finds always here! Favourites include my faux fur vest and Swiss-made t-shirts, but most importantly: the owner/attendee helped my mom find the dress she wore to my wedding here! She asked my mom what she was looking for, and VOILA, she narrowed right in on the perfect style, colour, and fit!”
“Some stuff In here is ridiculously priced, every person feels as if because it's old, it's worth a lot, and that's not the case. But in all honesty it's fun to poke around in here and sometimes you can find some cool stuff.”

Used Vintage And Consignment
“An eclectic wonderland! Witch City Consignment is such great mix of antiques and kitschy/witchy finds. I love scouring through the aisles and bins for unique finds and great deals! They definitely embrace the Salem energy with creepy decor, which makes it such a fun addition to any trip to town. The staff and service are also super friendly and welcoming- definitely worth a trip!”
“I started shopping here in '88. Those were my Vintage days. Then grunge and finally goth. They had EVERYTHING.I was so young / 19 - 20. I usually went to Oona's during my vintage days. It was costly as a teen though. Garment District was one of the only places I would shop 'cause they always had the correct clothing for my alternative -- grunge--goth days as well as appropriate items for work. That was so many decades ago. I miss it. It's huge & they had anything I wanted. iNo need to go to NYC!”
“Every time I've been to Goodwill they've been very helpful to me! Cashiers are very friendly very helpful if you need something? And cheerful attitude! This is the kind of thing I would love to see for every business! But the Goodwill where I've gone to in Boston definitely is all that and a bag of chips! ??”
“A favorite neighborhood shop where I always find the best gifts and tend to leave with something for myself as well. If you're looking for the treasures you find when shopping small and local, this is the place. And during the holidays, they have the best ornaments.”
“The only antiques market in Boston where you can actually find deals on furniture and brick-a-brack. A great place to kill a Saturday afternoon with a great variety of vendors.”
“Great workers.alwaysPrices are great! Book selection and media always stocked. Furniture selection is always great. Shoes are clean. Store is clean. Donation center open until 5 p.m. Store open until 7 p.m except Sundays, closed at 6 p.m . Come check it out!”
“Paul is extremely helpful and friendly. Randomly ran across this shop when visiting Boston. They also sell men’s clothing. Purchased a Brioni sports coat which is great.”
“I found Closet Connection's website while on the hunt for a specific Coach coat, and they had it! I was able to message them through Facebook and they responded so quickly and I scored the coat of my dreams!! It came in perfect like new condition and even had the extra buttons. Thank you so much CC, you are truly a hidden gem.”
