The place is generally clean and fully stocked, they are however severely understaffed and that sucks when you're in need of assistance when you're either checking out or need something from a locked area. They also don't accept any form of digital pay like Apple Pay so that kinda sucks too..

This store is a train wreck!! I stopped to buy a shirt; stood at the fitting room for a long time, no staff there, so asked FIVE different Walmart employees if they could help by paging someone. 2 of the 5 literally did not understand me (English--and no offense, if you can speak more than one language, that's grand, but these 2 folks did not). Was directed by the other 3 to stand in line at customer service and wait 6 people deep to ask the one person there if she could page someone to meet me at the fitting rooms. Very upset customers in line complaining about being double charged for singular items, people were demanding to speak to the manager for more basic issues....will never return.

This establishment is complete disrespectful and disregarding the Walmart brand. I Need essentials. To feed a new-born . The fact that I came in 10 minutes before closing . I needed formula and nobody was helping me . Completely nobody . I went up to costumer care and asked I need someone to open the locked shelf . She yelled at me saying I can't help that isn't my decision it is I asked her can you refer me to some that can help then . She disregarded that sentence . It took about 10 minutes after , it was 11 pm , closing time . For someone to come and unlock after we asked her and she had to yell at her co-workers for help because no one was helping their own fellow co-workers . This was a complete ratchet and bootleg experience.

Went there to pick up my order that I made 3 days ago 4 for the holiday season and end up being aggravated with customer service. Ordered item for curbside pick up and wait it 20 minutes then had to go in the store to look for an associate for service. Once I found associshe did they were all sitting around doing nothing and just fooling around. And there was a manager there which kind of shocked me that she was also not doing anything. Not the 1st time I've been in the store and they were lazy sales associates.

Worst service ever. Went into the customer service area, my brother had wired me money. The woman working behind the counter was so rude, she told me that their system was down after flirting and helping the man right in front of me with the same request. I asked if there was another Walmart near by and she said "what?! I don't know, google that shit" so, uh.....there's that. Thanks for being a complete b word when I was already having the worst day.

The manager at the flower department is awful!! Asked him a question about a price on a hanging plant and he walked over and was like whats the problem?! His mannerisms are horrible!!! All the other staff was great. Henry needs some customer service training!

There's definitely a one star Walmart one cashier open 12 self checkout registers nine people standing around gabbing with yellow vests on. Give me a break is the worst customer service in any store anywhere. Will call the service horrific since there is absolutely no service.

Do not go here!! I spent $160 here and when it came time to pick up my glasses they left a vm saying they are open until 7, showed up 6:30 and they were closed. I called and left a vm about it and they called me back saying they are open til 5 so I go again at 1:30 AND THEY WERE CLOSED! I call the next day and the woman on the phone IS LYING saying they were open when there was clearly a sign on the door saying CLOSED with NO LIGHTS ON. BAD BUSINESS AND ARGUMENTATIVE STAFF!!

This is strictly a critique about a worker there, although this Walmart is still one of the worst I've ever been to. I went in today looking for a tv tray. Minding my own business, I was sorting through the ones I liked. Some of them, the top of the trays were scratched up, and banged up a lot. So I'm searching for one that wasnt damaged, and the guy who was unpacking some stuff in that aisle notices me and says "they're all the same" but with an obvious attitude that implied a lot of things. I didnt get his name, but he was Spanish. He embodies that Lynn mentality that is pervasive in the location. It was around 10am give or take 5 to 10 minutes in the area where the sofas are. Then he walks up to me and I said no they're not, the few up front are damaged. He looks annoyed and walks away. Really man? How about you mind your own business? What purpose does it serve for you to say that to me? Ridiculous. As stated in my older reviews, the place isnt the worst, inventory wise but the clientele and the workers make it terrible. Things like that are the reason why I hate this location. I only come here occasionally bc its closest to where I live. Things like this keep reminding me why i even bother. The one on Route 1 in Saugus is just so much better even though its further away.

What a joke. One register open out of 20 at noontime. 15 people deep in line. Tons of employees standing in front of store. Speak to staff about opening other registers and I get a " shrug" and an " oh well! "

I typically love Walmart, but this store is not good. There's no produce department, and the rest of the grocery aisles don't "flow" (e.g., there's cheeses & deli meats in what you would think is an ice cream freezer). The clothing departments are scattered about, and I couldn't tell when I was leaving one category and entering another. The cashiers are HORRIBLY SLOW. Seriously, you would think they were having a contest to see who could ring the slowest. Absolutely no sense of urgency, and only 3 lanes were open. I had to go BEHIND the register to grab one of my bags because the cashier didn't hand it to me (or even acknowledge that it was mine). The frosting on the cake was when I realized one of my products was damaged as I was leaving the store. I asked for help, and she pointed to another employee who was the "manager". I approached the "manager" and said hi, and she said "what" very coldly. I explained the situation, she denied being the manager, and then started verbally fighting with the first employee. I left to get a replacement product and when I came back, they were still arguing! The only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because this store has significantly more stock than the others in the area.

Let's Talk "Nasty" at the Route 1, Saugus, Mass. 01906 (Northbound) WALMART Oh my! Less, used to be more...I had no idea there was a Route 1 - Walmart. This needless location, replaces the empty real estate hole that the former "Bob's Store", occupied some years ago. (Good riddance, to the "Bob's Discount Store". That was an awful, low -end, mess). So, aside of the parking garage structure which looms over Route 1, for this Walmart, there is no other reason to shop in here, other than curiosity. Saugus, Mass., at one time, was a quaint, little historic town until the greed of the modern (Saugus) community took a jack hammer to it. Route 1 itself, was always a traffic pattern nightmare, but now is nearly impossible to navigate. (Kind of like "Logan Airport" on a Friday night, all day long). The Saugus Town Fathers, used to really care about this town and they did everything they could to keep it a really nice place to live. However, the notion of small town America, has not prevailed in this area. Route 1, is now an even worse geographical and traffic bound nightmare than ever before. The old skyline is shattered and deeply penetrated with (garish) ginormous, monolithic useless stores and buildings, which nearly prevent birds from flying overhead. The overbuilt, over - stored and overrun Saugus, Massachusetts, skyline is almost as degraded as the skyline (which no longer exists) of Swampscott, Mass. The Greedy Town Fathers of Swampscott, allowed its skyline to be 100% obliterated. Completely, and entirely. Hey, Saugus...how much higher can those buildings get..higher than the clouds, it now seems. Well, bigger is not always ...better. (Route 1's, ABSOLUTE LOSS!!! of the very, famous "Hilltop Steak House", is nothing more than an American tragedy. All who remember it, in its hey day ("14 - for Sioux City!!" "7 - for Dodge City") still crave the warmth, the wonderful, summer time highway aromas... with all windows down...the snappy, but super - duper efficient, CLEAN and CHARMING, wait staff, the absolutely great food and the wonderful dining with friends and family, alike). Oh, that herd of cows...where are they now? Probably melted down for soda bottles and plastic straws. Ah, but I digress. Hilltop's former owner, would have never allowed such a mess to occur around his establishment). And, of course, ever since "Revere - Kelly's", beach front location sold out long ago, there was nothing else for Saugus to do... but sell off every millimeter of land along Route 1 to one Real Estate Developer, after another. Some of the Saugus crowd have gotten SUPER rich off the disaster they created along that strip of tar. Again, I digress. My review is about the Route 1 Walmart, now isn't it? Since there was no way to install a parking lot into Route 1, they built a huge parking garage along Route 1, in order to accommodate the Walmart shopping crowd. This, being my very 1st shopping experience in this Walmart, I spent no more than .10 minutes amongst this branch of low and wealthy. As I entered the narrow strip, that is the Route 1 - Walmart shopping experience, I found that I had to use an escalator. Ok? This was really poor real estate planning, along Route 1. I took a lengthy ride up a grimy escalator only to be met at the top by (2) foreign speaking Walmart workers, who were laughing and howling and joking. Hmm, not looking promising, yet. The man standing on the other side of the Walmart escalator, (also a fellow Walmart employee) was busy maneuvering around in his nose. Hmmm. Pretty disturbing, so far. He, also reeked of cigarettes. Well... I thought that I was looking for something in Walmart, in the "Women's Clothing" area, but I soon found there is NO!! "Women's Area", in this store. The upstairs is a tangled mess of unrelated departments (similar to "Macy's"), with food on one side and a jumbled, conglomeration of "whatevers" on the other side. Not
