Zimman's has a huge array of high quality, well priced upholstery and drapery fabrics arranged by color group and type. There are gorgeous and surprising patterns and colors, rich textures and satisfying weaves. The staff is helpful and very pleasant. It its worth a drive from anywhere.

Went here for the first time, after visiting several other fabric stores, searching for fabric for a window seat. They have a great selection of beautiful fabrics at reasonable prices. One other store wanted me to look through books of boring fabrics ranging in prices well over $100/yard up to $150/yard.Zimmans has an amazing selection of fabricsaveraging between $30-50/yard. Those are the fabrics I was looking at though there may be fabrics more or less than that. I bumped into one of the sales ladies, Judy, who was helpful in guiding me around. I found a fabric and am having them make the cushion for my window seat. Can’t wait til I get it.Update: very happy with my cushion that they made. And though I was told it might be 10-12 weeks, it was finished in about 4 weeks!

If you need any kind of upholstery fabrics, this is your place. It's a bit overwhelming how many choices they have. Staff is incredibly helpful.

Outstanding service and workmanship! Thank you Laura and Pon!! I was referred to Zimmans by a friend. I could not be happier!!! I met Laura on my first visit. Together we found the right fabric for my matching overstuffed chairs. Pon took it from there to reupholster them and deliver the final product. Exceeding my expectations at every step. Thank you. Outstanding service and selection. I can't say enough good things about my experience at Zimman's. My project was to have a couch reupholstered and I had great guidance and ideas from Norma from the moment we met with her. She came up with amazing selections and complementary patterns I never would've thought of. Even when I came back because I was unsure I wanted to stay with the original plan, she helped me look at alternatives, all the while being super professional and supportive. Norma was amazing!! And Pon was also really helpful when I was thinking about changing the choices I'd made. Can't say enough good things about the team at Zimman's. They know their stuff!!

I shopped a few months ago for performance upholstery fabric and foam cushioning for the custom window seat in our newly renovated kitchen. I'm a professional designer so I knew I needed performance fabric and wanted something with a more modern texture. I found a great Navy Crypton with a woven texture that is beautiful and was a fair price. They also were able to order the custom size high density foam I was looking for and it was delivered in less than a week. The Crypton is holding up great, showing no stains., and so love that the zip off cover we had made is washable. The staff at Zimmans was were busy but helpful to me in looking for options. I was patient and waited my turn. There was a stunning sofa they had just completed Re-upholstering in velvet that has me very tempted to return soon and have our sofa redone!

After more than 100 years in business, you would think a store that makes draperies would understand what a customer wants when they say they are a light sleeper and asks to have black out curtains made. Blackout being essential. That is not the case with Zimman's. If you're looking to purchase fabric they have a great selection but I strongly recommend you do not use them to make draperies/window treatments. They're expensive and do not listen to what the customer wants
