Wouldn’t check other J Crew stores for proper size when they didn’t have my wife’s size in stock. The Sales Associate was weird about it too.

I had a price adjustment within the required 7 days. The manager was a blonde woman with glasses who was so rude. I was an inconvenience to her. Meanwhile there was no one at the register. This manager is awful at customer service. Just beware if you have any return - don’t deal with that woman. Jcrew should really consider hiring another manager with better customer service. My experience was awful and I was made to feel like I was doing something wrong.

Terrible customer service. The ladies working the register, especially the brunette shouldn’t be working there. If you’re not going to be nice or do the bare minimum don’t work in customer service.

I recently visited here with high hopes of finding a well-fitted suit for an upcoming wedding. The sales rep assured me that if I purchased a suit, I’d receive complimentary tailoring, a deal that sounded great. They didn’t have my pants in the right size at the store so I had them shipped to my home. However, upon returning to have my suit tailored, I was informed that the free option was only available to customers with a “J Crew” credit card on file.
To make matters worse, the fee for tailoring was a mere $25, but the manager was unwilling to waive it, despite the false promises made by their uninformed rep. The rep apologized but I received no empathy from the manager. This bait-and-switch tactic left me feeling frustrated.
I expected better customer service and transparency from J Crew. It’s disappointing to see a company prioritize $25 in revenue over fulfilling their promises to customers. Needless to say, I will go to my own tailor, I’ll never be getting their credit card and I’ll be sure to go to other J Crew storefronts.

Clothes are pretty ok. I bought a nice pair of mens jeans.But customer service here is truly appalling. The two women working on 4/20/24 in the late afternoon were extremely not happy to be at their jobs, and they certainly let us know it. There was palpable attitude, raised voices, and snippy replies. There was whispers between co-workers and glaring at customers. There were eye rolls. Just imagine everything that a paying customer would not want to encounter from the folks that are paid to help him/her.J.Crew still has some decent clothes. Any person reading this post, please skip this store (due to the revolting customer service) and head online to shop on their website!

They have my size PL! I will be back. Helpful staff that don't jump on you as soon as you walk through the door. Beautiful clothes, nice dressing rooms, classy place.

Terrible customer service at the Lynnfield Ma location. Store manager rude and not helpful to customer! Bought an expensive pair of jeans there, got as Christmas present, tried on at Christmas they fit took tags off and hung in my closet. I went to wear a couple weeks after noticed weird jean misprint at knee. I was still within the 30 day return period had my receipt but tags were off. Store would not even give me a store credit for the jeans!!! Told me to call customer service, who were very pleasant! They told me store should take them back, went back inside and she still wouldn't do it. Now have to go through hassle of shipping back with copy of my receipt and then they'll credit me!
