Elmwood Grille & Market is a wonderful neighborhood breakfast and lunch counter inside a convenience store. It is a family-owned and operated, hole-in-the-wall mom and pop type place. The spot is known for good food, good prices, and good cheer, offering a quick casual bite, coffee, and groceries. The folks working there are friendly and real people. It features a grill, vegetarian options like salads and pizza, and Keno. The location has a large parking lot in the back and is considered kid-friendly. Many remember it fondly as the go-to spot for everything.
I will be sad to see this place go. I know they're getting to the bottom of everything and they don't have much to offer anymore other than the food and good cheer but it will be remembered in all the people's hearts that have went there and were able to linger while eating food and playing Keno

Wonderful neighborhood breakfast and lunch counter in a convenience store. I have eaten here many times and it is always excellent. Real people, good food, and good prices. Can’t beat Elmwood.
