Those who are looking for hard-to-find Asian specialties will need pleased to walk the aisles of this market. Fresh and frozen seafood, helpful butchers onsite, decent produce section, wide variety of dry goods.

The good: We found everything we were looking for here to make Vietnamese style egg rolls. I came from a city without a Vietnamese market so I drove all the way here to check this market out. LThey had 3 different types of bulk mangos! They also sold longan and rambutan. They let me use the restroom even though it said employees only. The bathroom was clean. The market is clean and organized. It doesn't smell too heavily of fish the way other Asian markets might. The produce was fresh. This is a medium sized market. The bad: There was a lady on the ground outside tweaking with her pants down. The side of the market looked like it was setup to sell fresh foods but nothing was being sold. The interesting: There were a lot of Cambodian customers. They had a canh chua packet ready to purchase. I've never seen this elsewhere! It has the vegetables, tomato, cut up pineapple and a pepper.

Lots of options and they have mobile payment. It's great finding things I can't get in other grocery stores. I've only been once so far, but it was busy enough to show it is well liked.

Really nice and friendly Vietnamese market. Small but has a lot of the stuff you'd need including very fresh herbs and vegetables that are hard to find at any other store.

I always find what I'm looking for when I come to Kim Long Market. The prices might be a bit higher on the kitchen supplies, but they have a large selection of cooking accessories. I'll be back soon.

Best Asian market in Long Beach! Produce is always fresh prices are outstanding and they have literally EVERYTHING you need for any Asian dish! The men behind the counter don't use gloves when they grab your meat (Ha-Ha) but I cook off those germs anyway. Kim Long is the S****

Interesting place to do your grocery shopping, mostly Vietnamese food, but I can see a lot of Thai, Laos and Cambodian community shop here as well, a lot of items only got a price tags but no name or description, but I guess that was fine. They didn't even have a price for frying fish, again I think It would be free if you buy the fish here, but I saw some tips saying $5 about 10 years ago, I could be wrong now. Overall it was a fun stop while I'm running errands in the LBC :)

This store has a nice selection of fresh veg, meats, and seafood that are priced appropriately. They also have some dessert items but not much prepared meals. The only thing that bothers me here is the service. Getting meat or seafood frm the deli area can be really difficult. Ive had a few occasions where the people in the meat/seafood deli would not help & take other customers over me even when they see me waiting to get helped for a long time. And this would happen even when its not busy. Also the cashiers have been really rude lately. Dont greet or look up but looking down the entire time and not saying a word. The only time the cashier spoke was to say the total. Never even asked if I needed bags bc apparently that would require speaking.Even when I said thank u after getting my reciept they still turn their nose up and looked the other way. Similar type of service with most the cashiers here now; only one that is nice is the older man that use to own the store who still works there. Like I dont give them a hard time and am just there pay for my groceries so I dont get the need to be so rude. I dont come here often anymore bc of the service.
