“Best vet around!! They go above and beyond when caring for your pet. I took my dog Riley to them for the past 4 years and they always made her feel so loved when she was there. When she was scared, they gave her so many belly rubs and kind words that she always left with a wagging tail. They are also so patient with owners, making sure to answer all your questions and never rush you through an appointment. They also are extremely responsive via email and phone and typically have same day appointments for emergencies. Can’t recommend them enough”

“Pinto is a very sweet dog with very high anxiety around veterinary treatment, specifically onset during the COVID pandemic. Back Bay Veterinary Clinic -- and Dr. Graham in particular -- has been SO wonderful in working with us to figure out the best way to make sure he is calm and comfortable so that he can get the care he needs! “I've loved my time with Heal Vet and Dr. Keen! Knocked off one star because my dog was pawing at his eye recently, and the earliest appointment for him to be seen was 2 weeks after. Because it was his eye, we obviously couldn't wait that long. I was very surprised to hear how booked they were-- when we first came to Heal, we usually got appointments in within the week or days, even. Just something to consider (maybe August is a busy month?) With that said, I would continue with this practice if I were not moving out of state. Dr. Keen and the vet techs had been awesome. The rooms have little couches and exams were done on the floor for my anxious dog. Otis very much appreciated it!”

Blue is our 6-year-old Cane Corso and our 110-pound baby, so you can imagine how scared and worried we were when she swallowed a large piece of corn cob. We knew this could be very serious for a dog, and walking into the emergency room, we were extremely nervous.
From the moment we walked through the doors, the staff made us feel welcomed, reassured, and cared for. The woman at the front desk greeted us with such a warm smile, and something as simple as that made a huge difference during such a stressful moment.
Blue was nervous, but the team saw her right away. The doctor caring for her was absolutely wonderful. She kept us informed every step of the way, explained what they were doing, and made sure we understood what was happening. Her compassion and communication helped ease our fears tremendously.
Then came one of the cutest moments ever! The doctor showed us a picture of Blue sitting in the lap of one of the staff members who had walked her to the back. 😂❤ Blue is a BIG girl, so you could barely see the staff member underneath her! It was absolutely adorable and honestly brought tears to our eyes. Seeing Blue so comfortable with someone she had just met reassured us that she was in good hands.
Thankfully, the amazing team was able to help Blue get the corn cob out, and we were able to take our big girl home happy, safe, and healthy. 🙏🏾❤
We cannot thank the entire staff enough for the kindness, compassion, patience, and professionalism you showed both Blue and our family. You didn’t just take care of our dog—you gave us comfort when we were scared and treated our baby like she was your own.

Each and every time the staff that answer the phones are knowledgeable, helpful and efficient getting my pups seen when needed. They are so kind and welcoming upon our arrival. “Sky (Mini Schnauzer) was a patient of Dr. Lauren for a year and a half. Because Sky was an elderly patient, we built a care plan together and were able to give her a comfortable life.
Sky was always given incredible care in the clinic — lots of allergy-friendly treats!! And when it came time for me to make the heart-wrenching decision to let Sky go, Dr. Lauren and Sandra ensured she was pain-free, comfortable in her dog bed at home, and even consoled me as I sobbed my way through the ceremony. They even, without hesitation, gave me a hug after Sky passed. ❤
Afterwards, Dr. Lauren, Sandra, and the whole staff sent a hand-written card along with Sky's paw prints 😢 — a beautiful memorial for her.
I am grateful for their kindness and hope to someday be a patron of the clinic again when I am ready.🐾”

One of my dogs just had an emergency and they were amazing. We called 15 minutes before close and they still told us to come in. They got to my dog right away and immediately went into action sedating her and taking care of her with such skill and compassion. The entire team that supports Dr P was exceptional from check in to check out. Charlotte was so well taken care of as was I and my daughter. I am so grateful for having such an amazing local resource without having to drive to Woburn to the emergency referral hospital.
I am a regular with Dr. P for physicals but this was my first emergency situation. It just was a reminder of how important highly educated local vets are for our community. It is increasing hard to keep a small practice open. Thank you to Dr. P for your leadership!”

She was super thorough during the interview by asking my mom exactly what she is looking for and showing us potential matches.
