Sat down for less than 3 minutes at the pharmacy area (that was empty) and was told to leave by some random Asian worker without being asked if I was gonna pick up something. I had just bought something from there too and had a seat to drink since I was tired.
Just go to the nearest cvs instead, this has a 2.2 for a reason

Cashier (didn’t get her name) was very rude. Had been waiting in line for 5 minutes with a basket full of items, and instead of taking me next, because I was next in line, takes another customer who just walked up to the register not caring that I had been waiting for 5 minutes. And what gets me is the cashier saw me waiting in line with nobody else in line. I dropped my basket and walked out of the store. They just lost mine and my family’s business in that store.

Oh my where can I start
I went there to try to transfer my medication because they were out of stock
Looks like he was an Asia guy
Arround 8:30 pm
This so callrd customer service person could not even answer my question without been loud
This crazy man started yelling at me and said he will call the police if I don't leave
This is a pharmacy or is this a zoo ?
Wondering why this Walgreens still in business
I will never and ever go there
Total disaster
The devil inside this man
Hope he rots in hell
This is the second time this happens
First I was like ok
Everybody have bad day sometime
I will give them another chance
Right now iam done with this store

How Walgreens gets away with having the broken prescription refill system it has, is beyond me. I gave up and switched my prescriptions to another pharmacy after having been a loyal customer since Walgreens opened here in Malden. My 92 year old aunt still has her prescriptions there. I ran into a systemic issue trying to get her prescriptions filled and the response from the person on the phone was,”if I cancel the current refill request in order to simply check to see if it could be refilled earlier, the prescription may be purged from the system”. This is exactly what happened to me that prompted me to abandon Walgreens with my own prescriptions. At least I was given a warning this time, for my aunt’s refill. When my refill was purged I was met with a stone wall of ignorance from not a tech, but the actual pharmacist on duty. I asked how my prescription could just disappear and she shrugged and walked away. This was late night, btw, with no obvious pressing needs requiring her to blow me off without resolving my problem. An underlying issue is with the off sighting of refills to a central fulfillment location. It has become difficult to get a refill or even a new prescription on the same day. Today I was told my 92 year old aunt’s prescriptions would be ready in 48 hours. I asked the automated phone system to get them earlier and 24 hours was as soon as they could get them. My aunt had forgot about her refills, she is 92 after all, and she only realized today she was taking her last doses. So I attempted to talk to a human being to see if the prescriptions could get filled today. All these prescriptions are common drugs, nothing specialty, btw. 2 prescriptions were set to be filled in 90 minutes and the third was in this state of being purged if an attempt was made to modify its refill date. I suggest others with issues do as I am about to do an file a complaint with the board of registration for pharmacies in Massachusetts. Just google the board of registration and go to the website to file a complaint. This nonsense needs to be addressed. How for decades this wasn’t an issue and now is, is clearly indicative of a systemic issue that Walgreens needs to be forced to address by the board of pharmacy registration.

Not sure what's up with this place lately employees just do not care I go in I grab 3 items takes me literally 45 seconds and I'm waiting 7 to 10 minutes in line just to pay all mean while other employees just walk around the area while the register is getting filled up with people and on top of it you don't have bags people are putting things back not purchasing them because you don't have bags and then you want to sell us your bags this place was good for the longest time but whatever changed lately is not it

Cashier asked to check my receipt for my things I was carrying and walked in with (that they don’t even sell there??). She gave me such a weird/mean look after and did not want to give me a bag, I had to carry my items home.
It felt so racist, didn’t see her name but she had curly dyed hair. If I had the time I would’ve stayed and had them check the cameras too since she wanted to be so sure. So rude

Ordered prints for pick up online, estimated pick up time 8:40. Two hours later still not printed. Went to the store, staff (Jo-Ann) was extremely rude and couldn't care less. Told me to come back an hour later. Much nicer gentlemen helping me an hour later. But had to trigger the printing manually. Then why even bother with ordering online?
Will take my business to the other big pharmacy chain just a few minutes walk from now on.
Edit: changing it from 1 to 3 stars because the Asian American employee that helped me later on really was great. Give that guy a raise!

One of the only pharmacies within 5 miles of my home that consistently has my very common medication in stock. While you might wait in line up to 10 minutes sometimes, so please try to be nice to the staff. The store seems somewhat clean inside. My only issue is that it can feel a little unsafe in the parking lot outside the front of Walgreens sometimes. So stay aware of your surroundings. Never had an issue, it’s just not the most well lit area at night.
