Stopped by for a quick lunch back in October '23. The staff (especially the head bartender) were on top of everything. Very fast and friendly service and great food and drinks. Definitely a must-do if you ever visit this town.

Stopped at Calas just before heading back to Boston and I honestly think this was one of the best Clam chowders I've had in my life. Great service as well!
Cala's exudes local flavor with an ambiance that is Cheers casual. Regulars and newcomers are treated like family. If the bartender doesn't know your name when you walk in, he'll likely know it by the time you leave.Cala's is a warm and inviting gathering place where families dine out, friends catch up and acquaintances are made. The cuisine boasts classic New England flavors with lobsters caught right off of the shore by one of the restaurant's favorite regulars, and nightly specials that always keep the menu fresh. At Cala's, the beers are always cold, the wine pour is never skimpy and the pint-size drinks are worth the wait for a much-coveted seat at the bar.
