If I could give this place a zero star I would! Not only has the veterinarian previously operated on the WRONG leg of a dog, see previous review, the vet proceeded to perform tests on my pup without authorization, after clearly saying NO! What part of NO isn't clear.I expect him to make this right. Otherwise, this egregious conduct will be addressed with the veterinary board.UpdateOf course this cowardly vet hasn't responded. You will be hearing from the veterinary board. Amazing how this place is still in business in light of the reviews and community chatter.

I really wish I could leave a 5 star review and I would have a couple months ago. I will start by saying that I have brought my two cats here for the last 3 years and have always received great care by the vets here. I was in graduate school and was always very upfront that I had to be smart financially and the vets were always great at offering multiple options and being transparent about costs. I am well aware that cats are a life time financial commitment and their health is my first priority. Fast forward to a couple of months ago, I am moving out of state and I need to obtain a health certificate for my cats in order to cover my bases when moving to a new state (note I never needed to use their certificate). I reached out to Manchester vet to explain to them what I needed. I called the Dept of Agriculture of my new state to confirm everything I needed and relayed everything to Manchester vet. Basically it was just a simple health certificate saying they are healthy and have all of their vaccinations. I bring both of the cats in, they do a basic health assessment and fill out a piece of paper and send me on my way. The whole process took maybe 20 minutes. When I get to the front, my bill is almost $500 dollars and I am shocked. I question this and they tell me it is correct. I walk out stunned as that is the price of the flight for the cats across the country. It doesn’t sit right so I call all the other vets in the area who all quote me between $100-$200 for the same thing. I also called the Dept of Agriculture of the state I am moving and they said that had never heard of it being that expensive. I call Manchester vet and try to get an explanation from them on the cost and if there has been a mistake. Fast forward 2 months and I have been treated so poorly throughout this whole situation. I have spoke to Katie, the assistant manager, who was very kind but have never been able to speak to the manager of the practice or the owner after asking several times for an explanation of the cost or any attempt to rectify the situation. I waited 2 months to write this review, giving them the benefit of the doubt that they would have taken some action. I am so disappointed in the way that I have been treated and I would just caution anyone looking to bring their animals here that if they ever have any trouble, the poor management will unfortunately outweigh the wonderful care the vets here provide.

The staff is so caring and helpful. The vets are amazing! We've dealt with two of them, they both took extra time to explain things and make recommendations for our special needs dog. My family's pets have always gone there and now we bring our dog there.

DO NOT USE DR. LAMB!!! He operated on the wrong leg of our 11 year old dog, and now we have to nurse our dog back to health before taking back to surgery to ANOTHER VET to operate on the right leg.

Dr. Lamb came to my home in Manchester at my request when it was time to euthanize my 17 year old cat and my 14 year old lab/shepherd mix dog. This is a horribly painful thing to have to do but that's how it goes I guess when you are a pet owner. My dog lasted two more years after my cat was gone. He was in horrible pain from arthritis and other unknown ailments but he was so happy to see Dr. Lamb that he got up and wagged his tail and greeted him happily. His death at home was as good a death as could be. He left this earth in his own home, surrounded by loved ones who were cuddling him and feeding him his favorite treats, with a vet who he felt comfortable and happy with in the room. It is never an easy decision to make but at least if you have a kind and trusted veterinarian in your home it's not as cold and clinical as it could be. Thank you Dr. Lamb. You made one of the hardest days of our lives a little less hard with your calm and kind demeanor.
