“Willowdale Estate was an absolutely wonderful place to have our wedding this February. The venue was beautiful, and the entire experience felt seamless from start to finish. Our coordinator, Jeannine, was fantastic. She was warm, professional, and made sure everything went off without a hitch.
She took such great care of us and our guests, made sure everyone was comfortable, did a beautiful job with our decor, and kept everything running smoothly throughout the day. She even kindly sent us home with cookies at the end of the night, which was such a thoughtful touch. We’re so grateful for everything Jeannine and the Willowdale team did to make our wedding feel so special.”

“We stayed at Briar Barn last night and were absolutely blown away by the level of service! We had a very long travel day flying across the country and when we finally arrived Paula gave us the warmest, kindest, most gracious (and helpful!) welcome. We stayed in the Deluxe King Suite with our baby and found the room to be not only beautifully decorated but also spotlessly clean. Oh, and did I mention the comfortable bed and plentiful hot water? The continental breakfast was also a very nice touch. Honestly this place is a hidden gem and I cannot recommend it highly enough!”

Everything about our process was so smooth...Michelle the owner was so welcoming from the first time we set foot on the property for a tour and Sue our event planner made us feel comfortable with taking a relaxed approach. “Delicious drinks, great food, an incredible staff, and plenty of wonderfully decorated spaces for dancing and conversation. You really couldn't find a better place for a wedding or a reception. As a professional photographer I was very impressed by the service of staff. They had everything covered upstairs in the ballroom and downstairs in the cocktail hour area. The dinner served was absolutely grand, which is saying something as meals served en masse are sometimes lacking in quality. Not here. Consistency is the name I would give Cruiseport, I would absolutely recommend them.”
“My (brand new!) husband and I held our rehearsal dinner here in June and it was perfect. Our 32 guests had a specious, semi-private space at the back of the restaurant and it was absolutely lovely. Ricky, the event coordinator, patiently responded to all my questions and the staff did an incredible job setting up the space. The food was reasonably priced and delicious (we went with steak tips, shrimp scampi and chicken, broccoli and penne)! All our guests raved about the food. The atmosphere was lovely, the playlist was great! I cannot recommend this venue enough for your next event. Thank you to Ricky and the rest of the staff for such a memorable and beautiful evening!!”

“We just enjoyed our wedding day at Tupper Manor! From the minute we toured the venue, my husband and I knew this was where we wanted to celebrate our big day!
The venue's decor with stained glass windows, windows overlooking the ocean, and beautiful fireplaces was exactly what we were looking for.
It was such a pleasure working with David and Colby throughout the planning process and on the day of. They were responsive and coordinated. There were so many little details from the day that they coordinated that made my husband and I feel special.
On the day of the wedding, the bridal suite on the second floor was amazing. I was able to spend the morning with my bridal party enjoying breakfast, lunch, and hair and makeup with them without ever having to leave the venue.
All of the staff throughout the day was amazing. From the servers for cocktail hour and dinner, to the staff working the ice cream bar, and the bartenders, everyone was professional, kind, and very conscientious of Joe and I.
If you are looking for a magical venue that offers beautiful settings for indoor and outdoor ceremonies plus a chance to get photos on the ocean, look no further than Tupper Manor!”

“We stayed here for our trip to Boston/Salem/MV/Gloucester. The room was small but it was clean and the hotel was quiet. AC/heater was loud. If you are not planning to be in the room very much and are looking for a room with the basics, it was fine. It is not upscale nor is it low level. Staff could have been more friendly and welcoming when we arrived. Great proximity to the areas mentioned above. Nice photo op near the fountain.
Nearby activities: Quick drive to Salem, Boston, Gloucester and about 1& 1/2 hrs. to New Bedford for the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard.”

“We had our wedding reception here and it was absolutely amazing! The rooms were gorgeous and comfortable, the staff were so friendly, and the food was some of the best food I’ve ever tried! Huge shoutouts to John and Chef Dan for helping us so much! Side note, I had never been a fan of clam chowder until I tried Chef Dans award winning chowder. I will definitely be back again”

“Guys, Manchester-By-The-Sea is amazing, and this delightful social club epitomises all that is good about the place! As slightly off the beaten track Tartan Army members, we could not have hoped for a better welcome. We were treated like family from the moment we walked in. Cathy and Michelle looked after us brilliantly, and we loved partying with y'all. Thank you to everyone who drank with us, sang with us, chatted to us and even helped us up the road afterwards!
