Food was good and the hibachi chef was characteristic and fun, however, the wait staff was awful and I do not recommend this place. There's better hibachi with nicer staff all over. For the record I never leave bad reviews but this experience I need to vent about and honestly I hope my waitress sees it. My friends and I made reservations for 10, when doing so my friend asked if they could handle a sesame allergy and they said yes no problem I could order anything and they could make it in the kitchen if it was going to be contaminated. When we got there and I informed her of my sesame allergy she immediately tells me I cannot have hibachi and informs our table if at least half the table doesn't get hibachi then we can't sit at a hibachi table. It was immediately hostile with her but we just told her no problem I would get sushi cause of my allergy and 7 of the 10 people with us were getting hibachi. This was established immediately. Then soup and salads come out and they were great, except I took one bite and the dressing is sesame. Not wanting to make a big deal out of a honest mistake I didn't say anything and my boyfriend left to get me Benadryl. I only had a bite so I was fine but was uncomfortable for the rest of the night because of it, but the lack of allergen awareness isn't why I'm complaining. It took them over half an hour to get our drink orders correct and out to us. One of my friends was going to get fried chicken and rice he ended up with just rice because while ordering the waitress cut him off by saying "no hibachi?" And just moved on when he said no, this place has way more than hibachi. He couldn't get her attention back to order the rest of his meal and when she did eventually come back over and my friend asked "can we put in another order" she had an attitude and said "why for what" at which point my friend decided he didn't want anything he was over it. We had a second waitress who was very nice. Then a third who was asking how we were paying before we even finished. The staff was clearly talking about us cause they were standing around sending us looks and I honestly don't understand what we did to them, other than ask to finish ordering which my friend didn't even get to do. We were going to get dessert but they just brought the check over, and we were fed up paid and left. Entire experience was bizarre beginning to end so can't say I recommend. Also their decor is ugly they have huge blown up photos of food cooking like it's a McDonald's. Thats my peace now I can never think of this place again.

I'm celiac and I can rely on them to not get me sick and cater to my gluten allergy. They don't have a great variety of food that I can eat but its nice to have a place near-by that I can get sushi rolls. I don't suggest the sashimi though, I've had it multiple times and its always been disappointing.

Excellent restaurant. The sushi variety is superb, and it's always prepared to perfection each time I visit. Excellent beverages as well. Had a Smash Berry Martini that tasted just like a Srarbust. ??

I've never had a hibachi dinner before, so I can't really compare it, but it was fantastic. The restaurant was spotless throughout. Everything was ready really promptly. I found the quality to be impressive. The New York steak I ordered was cooked to perfection. The meat was of good quality and the spice was just right. Ten out of ten for the rice. I would most certainly go back, and I intend to do so soon.

I've reviewed this restaurants in the past and always been satisfied. tonight I got The TRex roll... didn't take like it too much because it tasted super strong fishy, I know sushi is fish but this was much stronger than the other pieces, a Dynamite roll good just a bit too much cucumber, a Mansfield roll very tasty! A house roll which was ok, I'd skip it, an 18pc sashimi deluxe to bring home. my friend got some seared tuna which he said was fabulous and some fried shrimp things which he also liked.it's frequently a bit noisy there and tonight was no exception, thankfully I could take out my hearing aids so I didn't have to hear some kid screaming and running aroundbut imagine my disappointment when I'm in the men's room washing my hands and one of the waiters, chefs or cooks didn't wash his hands after relieving himselfdidn't....wash...his handsI doubt I'll be going back

We always come.here to celebrate our families birthdays. This night was the worst service we have had in any restaurant! From the waitress that took our drink.order to the Hitachi chef who didnt interact with us at all! He is suppose to be the entertainment of the Hitachi! He was silent! An he didnt do the whole thing! We had to ask for him to do the Sake bit. They never came back to ask if we wanted anymore to drink. Then when they came out for my brother in laws birthday song the girl looked like she couldn't even be bothered! I went to go find the manager to explain what was going on and to see if he could do anything ,he didn't even care! Instead of saying I'm sorry even he began to tell me how short staffed they were! When I explained that I understand it's hard to be short staffed but that does not make up for them being rude he still didn't say sorry and pretty much had the attitude that we had to deal with it! Well we did! we will never be back here again! We can get chicken an steak at any restaurant for way less money!!

We've never had an issue here, food is good, service is usually good. However, literally as SOON as we got the bill back to sign, a staff came over to tell us that he needed the table for other people. Not even kidding, we were still signing. Very rude!

The tank of fish there is so small. many sharks and fish in there with little to no room. very upsetting to see such a site in 2023.

A fun hibachi experience. We went on a Friday night with no reservations. We were able to get seats at the hibachi grill pretty soon. The entertainment aspect of the grill was fun. Definitely a place for a party. We sat with another group and it was still entertaining with the chef and cooking. Food was good. Not the best but not bad. They start with a salad which was nothing special. Miso soup was simple but good. Then they bring out the ingredients and start with the fried rice. It's decent. Not the best and not the worst. I would have preferred a bit more flavor and maybe more onion or garlic. Then noodles. Same for flavor. Then the protein. And vegetables. My main issue is the veggies would have gone better with the noodles and it would have been nice to have the rice with the protein. In other words the pacing was slow and it would have been better for me if more was combined together.

Dined here during a quieter late lunch slot. The food was decent, and while service was satisfactory, there was a delay with one of our meals. Convenient location, but nothing particularly stood out. Overall, an average experience.

Just had dinner here with my wife. Had a great time. Great environment, great food and great service. Annie was terrific. She was a wonderful server and very attentive to all of my needs. We enjoy going to this place and I look forward to coming back soon!

Writing as I’m departing from the restaurant.Today my boyfriend and I wanted to eat out, (our #1 place is closed on Mondays) we had two orders of sushi, a couple apps, and two drinks.The food was fine. I don’t think anyone is looking for Michelin starred food, but it was solid comfort food.Service though. Service goes a very long way to make up for many minor mistakes. I ordered a lychee martini that was not at all balanced, mostly vodka and juice. I asked our server, who was very personable and kind, if she wouldn’t mind getting a bit more juice as the drink was very strong. Didn’t help. So I was honest and said the drink wasn’t great. Ellen apologized and said she’d speak to the manager. Said manager sends Ellen back to me to say “it’s a martini so, it’s supposed to be strong” and offered me $3 off… I firstly apologized to Ellen for having to tell me such a thing herself and asked to speak with the manager directly. The manager was very rude, dismissive, and lacked any awareness. We are one of very few tables in here on a Monday night. I wasn’t looking for a refund, all I wanted was the drink to be remade. Or offer me a replacement option. Even water would have been nice!I get this drink at least once a month while out. His response was that the bartender has been in this industry for 7 years and every customer says it’s not strong enough or too strong. Fine… but I’m the customer in front of you saying this isn’t a good rendition. He dismissed my feedback again and walked away. We paid the full bill including a 20% tip because it was not our server’s fault, but I promise you I will not be back a second time.
