“This store is worth checking out if you’re looking for some higher quality vintage items. Lots of furniture, lighting and various household items. I was just browsing today but there were plenty of items I was interested in. It is not a budget thrift shop, pricing seemed fair for the quality and uniqueness of items.”

I've tried going here once before, but the parking (not Knotty's fault) stressed me out and we weren't sure if we were at the right place (only signage was for the businesses on the outside, we weren't sure if there was anything inside). “What a gem! I could have easily spent my entire afternoon in this magic place. So many unique and reasonably priced items. Ended up buying an entire coffee set by Richard Ginori and two coffee cups made in Bohemia/Czechoslovakia between 1918-1938. The cups made fantastic Christmas gifts. The owners Anna and Mark are amazing.”

“I have been buying Antiques from Steve for about 10 years. They are VERY fair and have a fantastic variety for the size of the shop. The last time I was in there they just got in a new shipment of collectables that took me about an hour and a half to go through. They sell jewelry and repair broken jewelry. They do appraisals and purchase broken jewelry as well as coins and coin collections. After buying so many items from Steve I have gotten to see what a great business man he is by talking with him and negotiating many of the prices of items I have bought. He is very open to haggling on price. He is very in tune with his clients. I hope you take the time to stop by his shop. I suggest checking out his facebook page for new items coming into the store on a daily basis. I noticed his address is wrong. The address is actually 75 Main st. Northborough, MA.”

“If you want someone who loves clocks to take care of your clock, you should take it to Brad. I had a rare, beautiful early 17th century Swiss clock destroyed in shipping. Not only did Brad take it apart, salvage what he could, and put it back together, but he put assembled both the wood case and movement and had it running beautifully. He charged a very fair price and the service was outstanding. I am from Connecticut but Steeplechase is the only place I would consider for future clock repairs.”

I’d recommend this store for anyone looking for great vintage decor, rather than classic toys or clothes. Just be weary that this is a one-man shop, so hours can vary based on his availability. But if you’re exploring downtown Hudson, this store is definitely worth a visit.”
