Couldn’t complete all if my deposits due to two employees gossiping and creating a line. So my transaction was rushed & i was told i can only complete one deposit while there is a line. Great service.

I've had the pleasure of doing business with this bank a few times and they have always been very helpful.I know that Citizens bank itself is not the friendliest, organized, fast, efficient or helpful when you deal with them online or visit their other banks (shopping stores included) But thee guys on Bolton Street deserve credit for being a rose in a thornbush.Citizens bank should take note of the effort and friendliness that they go out of their way to maintain. I want to mention 2 names specifically that I've dealt with in the Marlborough branch that have been more than helpful, Andrew and Marwa, kudos to both of you for making my life dealing with my daughters student loans much easier.

Worst staff ever. Made me wait for 40 minutes for the banker and then told me that she is busy and has no time for me. Terrible experience.

I’ve been a customer of Citizens Bank ? for years ..I’ve been to pretty much all locations,,service is usually fair ,,BUT,,I just want to share my experience with the branch manager Robin..I had gone to 4 other locations ,,prior to the Marlborough one ,,that she has managed ,,this would be location #5,,I have to admit,,where she goes I follow..Robin doesn’t just do her job ,,she goes above & beyond for all customers,,She’s helped me numerous times with difficult situations,,when all other branch managers were incapable,,she’s also helped many friends of mines ,as well as family members..We all give her A+,,she leads by example..Robin is like no other bank manager or bank teller ,,that I’ve met ,,she’s very friendly,,helpful,,and always welcomes us to the branch ,,I can honestly say ,,Shes an asset to your Company,,there should be more like her ,,in all branches..Thanx Robin,,for all your patience & hard work ?

Absolutely terrible and Deceitful! Lots of Hidden Charges! The day I opened an account with them I asked them for what are ALL the fees. They did not relay the fees, she opened an account with an overdraft line of credit, which is something I never needed in my life. She said you will get checks in the mail, today 3 checks and then 500 checks in the mail. Turns out it's a lie, you only get 3 checks and rest have a fee (30 dollars for 100 checks). The overdraft line of credit, something i don't need, has annual $30 fee, if you don't deposit money for a month they'll charge $10, if i don't use my savings account for a month, (even if i maintain much more than the minimum balance), they'll charge a fee. NEVER BANK WITH THESE PEOPLE. Also, she said that if i deposit a check in the ATM that will count as a direct deposit!! That's an outright lie! I even asked her again does that really count towards a direct deposit, because it's a check? She said yes, it does. Terrible and appalling. Very disappointed.

Very good Banking experience I have been receiving at CITIZENS your business in and out, my pin number would not work on my Debit card brought it down to the bank gave me a new card 10min I was finished out with the new one and gone very good understanding of customers very helpful to

Today I had the worst service of my life, I made a deposit at the ATM on Sunday, the machine was defective at the exact moment of my deposit, my money did not fall into my account and I could not get it back from the machine. I opened an immediate claim with the costumer service and called the police. Monday was a holiday, I had to wait until today. And when I finally went to the bank today to get my money back, I was told that the manager available or in. Mr. Angel Ruiz answered me, took me to a room, where I explained the problem of the ATM, he did not seem interested in helping me, nor did he want to understanding my problem, after wasting my time he said he couldn’t do anything, refused to even give me the value in credit line as he himself has said before. I called the officer that helped me on Sunday, while waiting for his arrival. Mr. Angel Ruiz used these words "get out, get out, if you want to wait for the officer to wait outside ... get out"This was all in front of a lot of other clients in the branch, it was the worst experience that I was put in of my life, the way I was treated and the way people looked at me was unexplainable. I was upset and disgusted This is how you treat customer by Mr. Angel, this person and supposed customer service bank teller who does not know what respect is. Someone who is not willing to solve any problems for daily clients. After today I'm no longer a Citizens Bank customer and if you don't want to be treated the same way Go to another place. Warning stay away from this place. They want your money and treat you as a number. No respect or customer service. Better service at McDonald’s

The condescending "manager" is as inept at customer service as she is at her job. A simple procedure was made as difficult as u can imagine becuz she didn't read the paper her company sent me. She wanted to get me out as fast as she could to leave early (3p) and only tried to stonewall me until I wouldn't take no for an answer. Citizens bank should be ashamed of having this witch care for customers!! Betcha they don't care!!??

Both the tellers and the bank associates were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. For a typical deposit, to the loan associate I dealt with, it was a good experience.

Very pushy at this location to use the ATM. However the ATM is ALWAYS having a problem. When you tell them that they act like they don't want to hear it and can't wait to get you out of the bank. If you are going to push people to use the ATM please make sure it's a functional ATM.

This location did not allow me to take out my money when I went there in person and then said to pull out front b/c there were discrepancies with my account. The women who told me to pull up front said my birthday did not match my ID which ended up being a total lie. The manager came out on 12/23/20 at 3:50 after waiting 9 min - he said he was not able to allow me to withdraw from my account and asked me to go inside. I was with my two small children and had driven a couple hours looking for an open branch b/c I needed to withdraw more than $500 (atm limit). I was very upset the women initially said my birth date was wrong in their system, this mgr said no that is not the reason at all and that my birth date was fine. That alone upset me b/c that was an unnecessary lie about my bank account, my personal thing, what else do they lie about. I started crying b/c it was new years eve I needed my money out due to me traveling in the next days. This mgr asked me to go back to where I opened my acct which was wayland in a stop and shop (closed). I explained to him I had been in waltham, hudson 2x and now Marlborough looking for an open bank and I was not going inside with my children that was ridiculous. He gave me no explanation as to why I could no withdraw, I had my bank card, my ID, my social, my bank mobile app opened, I have withdrew and deposited money at this bank before. I was VERY upset and could not believe I wasn't able to access my own bank account.I ended up closing the account the very next day at the Acton location where they did not question me or give me a hard time trying to access my bank account. But I would never want to go through this again and give them 0 starts if I could. I ended up opening another bank account Santander Bank.

I recently moved to the area and opened an account with Citizens. This branch has been welcoming and helpful in all my banking needs. Very professional and personable. Tyler has definitely gone above and beyond. I would definitely recommend this branch.
