Shop here all the time. Little upset, was there late at night and saw a pair of Nike sneakers in back room, asked employee about it. Said, they were closing and to come back first thing in the morning. They still needed to price them. Went back at 9am very next morning and the sneakers were gone!! I mean I was there when the doors opened. How did these sneakers just disappear? Asked employee about it and she said they are gone! LIke who bought them during the night? Employees are stealing items! Sorry but its true. Something shady is going on at this Savers. Prices are just ridiculous now since new management. I buy Candles there because they are reasonable. They jacked the candle prices up to what you would buy at the store for goodness sakes lower the prices.

The guy at the donation drop off area is the absolute rudest. Consistently. I can pull up and be super nice to him and he is just a miserable human. I’ve been donating for years and this guy really makes me want to avoid it. If he doesn’t like his job, I get it, but be kind. I work in a restaurant and hate some days and some customers are incredibly mean, but I don’t take that out on everyone else. I just don’t get it.Also, prices have gone way up as everyone else has been saying. I think Savers is forgetting they are a THRIFT store, not retail.

I agree with recent reviews. Macy's backstage often has clothing the same price as Savers that have never been worn. Prices at this savers are just too high. It's a thrift store not a store. Northboro has 4 thrift/consignment stores where all is clean and reasonably priced. Can't someone save this Savers? It used to be so nice.

Some good deals but the products are often dirty and broken. The clothes are decent and have life in them, but everything else (furniture, dishes, kitchen goods, lamps, etc) tends to be dirty, broken, missing key parts. Think $6 for a dirty jar with food particles still in it without the lid. I also took a picture of a dirty laundry basket with spiderwebs all over it and a legit snake skin at the bottom. Employees are friendly and helpful. I just think there needs to be better quality control. Living on a budget shouldn't mean having to buy trash, because that's what a lot of this stuff is.

I used to go all the time with my family, even in different states. Recently we have stopped visiting as frequently because the prices have gone up a significant amount.

Manager will eyeball your donations and determine whether they are of enough “value” to deserve a coupon to shop. All while being rude and claiming the store needs to make sure they can make enough profit on the donations. What a terrible attitude considering everything inside the stores IS donated merchandise and people like me who shop and donate frequently are the reason they can continue to operate. I will no longer donate to this store.

Very poor service I went to donate 200 vhs tapes and I was told there not taking books rite now I told the lady multiple times that there movies and she just walked away . They sell out of vhs every time I’m there there’s new ones on the shelves . I don’t think they understand the point of thrifting very rude and made me feel like I was committing a crime and uncomfortable . The purpose of thrift stores is to keep stuff out of landfills and people a chance to buy 2nd hand stuff I will just sell on Facebook marketplace I would do the same instead of donating to a store like that

If you went here to donate and had one experience then went to the Framingham location to donate, you would be surprised they are the same business. Typically, I go to the other location which has made me jump through so many hoops, I really would rather light a match than donate. This location helped me place my car in just the right spot to be moving around the car. The other location did not give this level of instruction. This location was THERE (lol) this sounds weird. I have donated to the Framingham location 4 times and whomever is working there has abandoned their post. I have to go into the store to find someone who works there and even then once I had to stand in line with customers to speak to the only available employee. This person was available! OK, so the Framingham location has - on more than one occasion - tried to play it like I can't donate, after I already spoke to someone on the phone prior to the drive out who said I could. At that place and time...This person made quick work of my donation materials! They gave just enough instruction about sorting books / clothing / shoes / electronics ... they took everything and I really was expecting to have to find solutions for some oddball items but the guy had a category for everything. In Framingham, they tell you "we don't take that".The guy working the donation at this Savers _really_ loved his job! He even put on my kid's old light up sequin hat I was donating and said "now I have a new hat". "Yes, you do, sir. Yes, you do. Also, I think that needs batteries."Having the history with Savers that I do, I was mentally ready for a horrible experience. I had no idea this could be so pleasant! What Framingham location?Marlborough Savers is my new go-to solution for finding a home for cruft!

I have been donating tons of items literally tons of items to this savers only to be utterly disappointed at the price hike. It defeats the purpose of donations im donating to other places now. The manager is rude outright nasty her name is JEN. The staff are another chaos...they yell at customers behave nastily as they are not paid maybe?? This place is not good to visit anymore. Actually, all savers have become greedy, price gouging and outright nasty.

The tall female manager there is rude and disrespectful of customers. She should be fired but I guess they are desperate for employees.

I donate so many nice items to this store just like many other people. I like to go in and look around for odds and ends that I could use but when I stopped in today I couldn’t believe the price hike on everythingand mentioned to the manager who was standing near the check out , why has everything gone up so much. She said that they have to pay a lot of overhead and inflation. I said to her that everything they sell has been donated and I’m sure if anything of real value comes in, it never hits the floor! People are looking for bargains not over priced junk!

Be nicer to your customers and bring back two dollar coupons online that you can write down the number and use anytime you want instead of scanning and using immediately, clean your bathrooms

I went to the Marlborough location on the 16th of January, I asked an associate for help. Two items had no price stickers, two items that were identical were marked two different prices and a fifth I was told was the wrong price sticker on the item. The associate was not very pleasant to work with. I don’t know if she was having a bad day, but she was rude and unfriendly.
