Team at suitmen were really helpful - turned around a sport coat with alteration in 2 days. Selection is more of a slim, European style that I like. Really good prices and the in-store alteration was clutch.

Went here with my fiancée because I am wearing a suit for our wedding and I’m weighing my options. I met with one person already but wanted to see what else is around before deciding. The salesperson really didn’t know about fitting suits to a woman’s frame. She first tried showing me slim fit suits. I am tall and not small and it should have been obvious that a slim suit is not going to look good on my frame. And I told her I wanted a classic fit. She didn’t take my measurements just gave me a suit to try on and I couldn’t even get anything but the jacket on. She gave me a white shirt to try and I checked the size and said I’d need a larger size shirt and she said, “Are you sure?” And I said yes this size isn’t large enough to allow me to button the shirt. Like, I know what size clothes I wear and I wear men’s button down shirts all the time. Also she kept pushing us towards tuxedo jackets when my fiancée and I were clear that we wanted a regular suit and not a tuxedo. And I tried on a double breasted suit jacket even though my fiancée didn’t like it and the buttons looked mad cheap. Then she told us to come back because they might have what we want in stock but it seemed like a crapshoot. I want to make sure I get exactly what I want for my wedding. We ended up leaving and I’m going to stick with the clothier who I met with previously and knows exactly how to tailor the suit that he sells to fit me and he can order it specifically and tailor it himself. He was very knowledgeable. This woman clearly doesn’t actually know anything about suits or fitting them. She’s simply a salesperson.

The business was in another country and it took months for me to receive it. My husband didn't like the 2 suits I purchased for Christmas, so we ended up giving them to charity.

Salesman in the Solomon Pond Mall just tried to show me clothes without measuring me first, nor did he know the material that the suits were made of. Rather than measure first and then pick a suit that was appropriate, he wanted to just hand me clothes to try on. Waste of time, I left in disappointment.
