I’ve have rarely experienced such warm and genuine customer care. I brought my mother’s 30+ year old machine in for restoration and they did a superb job! Then I set my sites on making a couple of baby blankets. Jill, the owner spent at least an hour of her time on her day off to set me up for success. I hope to make her proud of me and my efforts. I’ll be back again and again. You should too.

The stuff is very friendly and helpful. They fixed my problem right away and didn't charge me anything. I am very grateful. Now I can use my sewing machine again.

Great place and the staff is really helpful and nice. I was just looking for elastic string to repair a bracelet, so I technically wasn't even sewing anything, but they were really happy to help me out.

As a basic garment sewer who is interested in sewing more quilts and blankets because it seemed interesting. I went in to inquire about some notions, books and any sort of beginner resources but kinda got brushed off by staff because I didn’t quite know what I was looking for or needed. I would say it seems like a good shop for more advanced sewers but not so much beginner.

I have attended Open Sew for over a year and developed quilting as a lifetime hobby to cherish. The teachers are knowledgeable and helpful and skilled in making a class run. I recommend the organization for anyone who wants to learn sewing and quilting!

My new favorite sewing shop. Employees were very welcoming and easy to talk to. With their vast knowledge in their machines I was able to leave feeling confident I made the right purchase. Will be coming here for all my future purchases and repairs despite closer machine shops to my location!

The staff here are fantastic- very friendly and knowledgeable about machines- any question you throw at them, they have an answer for you. They spent a lot of time with me as they guided me through my purchase and were extremely helpful with finding a machine that would fit my needs. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to purchase any kind of sewing machine or having one serviced.

I have been a customer for almost 15 years and have always gotten excellent service. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They have a great selection of machines, from basic for the new sewer to the high end computerized machines, servicing, classes, accessories, and fabric.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I got my Bernina there in 2009. I have it serviced at the store , and it purrs. I took classes when I bought the machine because it had been decades since I last sewed, and I had never done quilting. I learned so much, not the least of which is that it’s never too late to start sewing again.

If you are in the market for a sewing machine, this is the place to go to. I am quilter and have shopped at highly rated dealerships inCT over the past 30 years. Moved to MA and found this gem of a place. Absolutely blown away by their customer service! They have ensured that I can use my new machine to its full capability.

I came to Weyside's open sew classes on Wednesday mornings over the summer and learned so much. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I went from barely knowing how to use a sewing machine to pretty much completing a large complex quilt in just two and a half months of weekly class time. They have a great selection of gently used sewing machines for sale at reasonable prices and good variety of fabrics/other sewing supplies. If I didn't have to move out of state for school I would still be there on a weekly basis.
